"Falling is an accident, but standing up is a choice." It was his life's quote, and he was going to stick to it.
With a dizzy head and screaming muscles, he stood up and raged on. There were cuts and bruises up and down his body, even in spots where the sun didn't shine.
It hurt, it hurt like hell.
But he had to keep going, he had to stand up and fight, because on the battlefield. On the battlefield, there would be no breaks, and he was sure as hell that there is no surrendering. At least, not in his books.
He continued to rain down hits and attacks on his opponent, each one weaker than the last.
"This is bad," he thought. "If this beast doesn't go down soon, I'm toast."
He felt himself staggering around as he struggled to rain down more hits.
*BAM*
Just as his body collapsed, a whistle rang out.
Loud and clear.
"Winner, ZHANG, WENSHI!"
"Ah~fu..."
"Congrats brother, two hours, thirty-seven minutes, and eight seconds! That's a new record!" Zhang Wenshi's annoying smile came into view. "But I'm still better." she teased.
"Yeah, I know. I heard the referee screaming," Zhang Mao Rong stood up and walked with his sister towards the bench. "I think you dislocated my jaw with the last punch." He said, grabbing his jaw.
"Aww, you'll be fine you, big boy." Zhang Wenshi cooed.
"Yeah, I wish," he said, reaching for his towel and water bottle, "What do you think about not being a private student anymore?"
"I don't know, I mean we're so isolated, we don't even know what's it like to socialize."
"Hmm, I get it."
"Miss Zhang, Mr. Zhang. Your mother is calling for you from her study."
"Thank you, Uncle Shi. Please tell her we'll be there as soon as we clean up."
"Understood miss," The old caretaker bowed, and left the way he came.

Mother's study
"You called for us mother?" Zhang Wenshi spoke.
"Yes, this will regard your new social status as well as your new task, take a seat." The Zhang twins moved to sit in front of their mother. "As you know, you two will no longer be private students. Instead, you will now be attending the actual school rather than learning everything at home. If anyone asks, you tell them that you were private students and that your family can no longer pay for the private lessons."
"That sounds legit," Zhang Wenshi glares at Zhang Mao Rong, "I-I mean, I understand mother."
"Good." his mother nodded in turn, "Now, regarding your new task. You will need to track down this boy who will be transferring to the school. All we know is that he is from America. I want you two to watch him and report back his movements. Understood?" she raised her eyebrows.
"Understood," both twins said in unison.
"Very good, now here's another thing. You two will be staying in the school's dormitories, so pack your bags."
"Yes, mother,"
"Dismissed,"
The two cheered inside after having left the imposing lady they call mother behind.
