"Second brother, when did you arrive at the capital?" Mingyue asked.
"Just now. I went to see His Majesty before I look for you." Xiao Tian said.
Mingyue paused from her task as something crossed her mind. "His Majesty summoned you back? Does it means you're going to stay in the capital for a long time after this?"
Xiao Tian laughed. "It depends. As long as His Majesty didn't send me to another task, I will stay for a long time. But, don't worry. I will be around for your wedding. When are you going to introduce that man to me? I heard so much about him from Xiao Xian and Xiao Liang."
Because Jiang Xiao Xian mostly traveled around to complete the tasks assigned by His Majesty, he had never seen Yang Yun ever since she started seeing him.
Mingyue raised a brow. "Oh? What did they tell you? Something good? Bad?"
Xiao Tian raised a brow teasingly. "Guess?"
Mingyue clicked her tongue. "I bet they told you something terrible. Elder brother and the third brother was not a big fan of Yang Yun.
Xiao Tian laughed. "Don't worry. I don't believe in anything they say before I see this man for myself. I have faith in my sister. Whoever you pick must not be as bad. You're not blind."
She laughed at his words. "Thank you for your confidence, second brother. Then, I will introduce you to him soon."
Jiang Mingyue put down the watering can on the ground and pulled a chair to sit before her brother. "You went to see me before you went back home to see mother and father. Did you have something you want to talk to me?"
Xiao Tian looked around to watch the herbs she has been cultivating for a few years. "It's about your request. One of my men heard news about the last ingredients."
Mingyue's eyes widened in surprise. "You mean someone had news on Shadow Grass?"
Shadow Grass is the name of the last herbs that Mingyue and her grandfather were searching for to cure Princess's Lingchen.
Xiao Tian hesitated for a while before he nodded.
"Are you telling me the truth?" Mingyue could sense that there was something that her brother was trying to keep from her.
"I am. However," he forced a smile. "What we hear might be just a rumor. We are not sure if this news is credible."
Mingyue shook her head. "Any news is better than no news. Aside from the little information we have from grandpa's book, we have no other way to find any other information on those herbs."
"Don't get your hopes up. I don't want you to be disappointed." Xian reached to touch her head and ruffled her hair.
"Then, where is this man? When can I see him?"
"Come to Grandfather's shop after your shift is over," Xiao Tian said as he stood up. "I will let you meet this man there."
