Back in Da Cheng,
Princess Lingchen received a surprise when she returned to her palace from her morning assemble with the Emperor. A maidservant announced that the Emperor of Qian Rong had come over to visit her. The Princess quickly went to the hall to greet her guest.
Her steps paused at the door when she saw her friend drinking tea leisurely in the hall. Princess Lingchen stepped forward and greeted him. He was definitely a surprise guest! "Your Majesty, what brings you here?"
The Emperor of Qian Rong put down the tea on the side table. "My grandmother sent me here. Didn't Yang Yun wrote a letter saying that his wife has lost her memories?"
The Crown Princess eased up when she heard his words.
"Come here and sit," he pointed towards the empty chair beside him. "You are my friend. Let's forgo formalities when there were no one around."
Princess Lingchen signaled her maidservant to bring in a few more refreshments into the room before she took a seat.
