Chapter 81 - Lunch

Since it was lunch time, most of the employees were in the cafeteria. So when Queen and Quince walked out to the front entrance, there were only a few people that saw them.

Even though it was just a few people, some of them managed to snap a photo and soon, the picture was spread and shown to every employees in the company.

'Alert! Boss is holding a woman's hand!'

'What?! Our super boss who only works and does not even glance at a female?!'

'She could be the future lady boss of De Roi group!'

'Doesn't boss have a fiancée selected for him by his family?'

'Is this his employee or is it a vixen that stole boss away!'

Various rumors were being thrown about and some even fervently believed that Queen was a foxy beauty whom managed to seduce the boss.

After all, an arranged marriage partner whom just met each other wouldn't act so close like lovers that had known each other for years!

On the other hand, Queen and Quince was completely unaware of the rumor spreading behind their backs.

The reason Quince walked to the front entrance with Queen was because he wanted to let everyone know about their relationship.

But more than that, he wanted to let people know that she was engaged and not available!

After all, Quince still remembered the admiring looks toward her at the cruise party, especially that blonde man that danced with his lady.

'I didn't know I was the jealous type' Quince thought quietly to himself as he sat in the car with Queen beside him.

He was experiencing a mixture of disbelief and helplessness in heart as he lamented about his behavior.

Queen didn't know what Quince was thinking at all, she just thought it was convenient for the driver to pick them up from the entrance. Besides, it was convenient for her plan anyway.

Soon the couple arrived at the restaurant that Queen booked.

Quince looked at the restaurant and was to surprise to see that it was actually the famous 'Luna' restaurant.

A couple of years ago, Luna took the high society by storm. It was a small restaurant but the lake view and fabulous food soon made it a favorite for the elites.

It was usually fully booked and getting seats needed at least one year of advance booking.

"Let's go in" Queen said as she led Quince inside.

The decorations were mostly pastel colors such as pink, blue and yellow.

Instead of the luxurious feel, it gave more of a homey feeling. Even so, the furniture inside were of premium level.

The waiter led Queen and Quince to a corner spot where they could over look the whole restaurant without really being noticed.

Since the side of the restaurant was a clear transparent window, everyone in the restaurant could admire the lake.

"Do you like it?" Queen asked as she looked at the man sitting in front of her.

The truth was, Queen was actually nervous inside. She was actually the owner of this restaurant. The reason she opened it was because she wanted to bring her cat to it someday.

Their childhood days in their previous lives were still some of her most cherished memories. At that time, when Lancelot was sent for training as a knight, he had to learn how to cook in case of emergencies.

Luna hated his cooking then and Lancelot swore to make her fall in love with his cooking.

'Ha! Your cooking is horrible! Anyone you rescue would die due to your food!' Luna said condescendingly.

'It's just cooking! Who cares! If I want to, I can become the best in the world! I'll even open a restaurant so everyone can bow down to my talent!' Lancelot declared hotly.

'Yeah do that! And if you can, I'll even let you use my royal name for your restaurant!' Luna laughed mockingly at him.

Since then Lancelot had always been working on his cooking, all to become the best.

But his speciality lies in pastries and all bakery goods, as a certain someone really loved sweets.
