A while ago I came upon the phrase "fairy tales have a happy ending because one of the lovers is very rich." This made me think about all the romance stories I have read. And I found this phrase to be true in most cases. One of the lovers is usually royalty, nobility, or a rich CEO. Then I thought...
Why can't the lovers be happy if they are poor? Why does one or both of them have to have a powerful identity? Why do they have to be super talented?
It might be childish but it would be nice to see a couple who truly loves the other. Who are not once in a millennia genius. Who have a humble background.
Maybe they could start off in a small little village and decide to leave. Not because a group of monsters attached, but because they wanted to explore the world before settling down.
On the way they discover the magic of cultivation and, despite their average aptitude for it, choose to become cultivators. Their only goal is to reach immortality together so that they may be with each other forever.
Though, this might seem a bit unrealistic, it would be nice to see a couple like that who only have each other in their eyes and are satisfied as long as they remain together.
