Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

"We are very sorry about this. As the second princess of Delacour, I am very sorry that we have caused you some distress..." Is what brat said in front of us while her fellow classmates an some guards, or in her term "group mates", brought the Blood horn back towards the kingdom in which it escaped from, apparently they were practicing some hands-on activities about adventuring...

'If I had gotten hurt, I would've kicked her to the death!' But that was just my thoughts, she is actually someone called 'Princess Athena Delacour', the second daughter of the Queen of Delacour who obviously lords over the entire city, and this city is much bigger than the Grand empire of the human kingdoms, Castille.

This poorly named french city is quite ecstatic, there were much more bigger and better houses than those I'd normally see back at Castille, which where mostly either incredibly dark and murky or absurdly shiny to the point I'd need sunglasses 'Now that my guild card has been established, what should I do next?' I thought. After that close call earlier, Darell, the middle-aged adventurer who was to approve of my escort mission. Confirmed my completion, thus the Copper colored card strapped onto a ball-chain necklace around my neck.

I had a free day today, and what better way than to look around to see what kind of places this kind of city would have. 'Well, I've let's see-' I bumped into someone, "Hey!" I screamed, it is a man wearing what I mistook, or now that I've take a closer look, safety googles, strapped around his head. He was carrying a box of metal items, and a scroll dropped on the ground next to him, I picked it up but then he took it out of my hands as soon as I rose "Thank you, Young man, but please be careful when walking around the streets..." He said, I examined the box and found out they were parts of machinery, which I have currently no idea of. But then something flickered inside the pile of parts, I suddenly got curious. But before I could take another peak, he had already scurried off. 'Strange person, wonder what he could be up to?' Everyone around me stared, I knew these stares, It's the kind people give to you saying 'You shouldn't have done that, brat!' And then two guards in clad armor show up before me "Hey kid, you helped out that loon?" a blond-haired man in plate armor, approached me "Isn't he that old croon that lives near the house down the alley?" another person, who wore a half-plate, responded.

"What do you mean?" I asked "You don't know him? guess you must be new here. Let me tell you a little something 'bout that guy..." He leaned a little closer to me "He's a loon who does nothing but haul over some junk over to his alley way dump he calls a home, what's worse, sometimes people have been reporting that explosions happened there!" the man next to him then replied with: "Well, we've tried a lot of things already, but the best we can get for him is close monitoring, because..." He then sighed "Well, let's say we've never found anyone on our unit so far that are willing to go near him, least arrest him..." I then interrupted "What's his name?" "His name?" said the red haired man "Well, if I remember correctly, isn't his name Ardian?" "Ardian Litwick?" The blonde said "The man whose been thrown out of Golden wing for bringin' in demon blood for 'Research purposes' Pft! As if..." "Just be sure to take everyone's word for it kid, no one wants to be near a nutcase like that, Everstein or not!" He said as he moved away from me, then the red-haired one followed up 'Everstein?' I said as I looked into my left hand 'Nah, too risky, can't be too sure...' I said as I headed over to the nearest guild, to take some quests for me to do the next day.

"Huh?" I said "What did you just say?" "I'm really sorry sir, but you cannot simply just take quests without a Graduate's scroll..." The guild girl said 'Graduate's scroll, but isn't that...' "Isn't that only required for Bardic or Wizarding class types?" I said "Yes sir, but we cannot be reassured that our wizards aren't demonic warlocks in disguise, nor are they uneducated about the request levels above D-rank..." she said smoothly 'Dammit...' just when I thought a great obstacle in my path had been cleared, another has decided to appear like a wild animal, then I asked "How do I get this scroll?" "Well, you've to be given a graduation scroll by the Professors of Golden wing academy, once you've attained that scroll, you'll be allowed to continue on as an normal adventurer of Delacour city..." I rolled my hand below my chin, and then I said "Very well, thank you for this information..." I said

'Guess I'll have to go to some sort of school someway in another world right?' I thought to myself 'Wait, but how am I gonna get the money to pay my tuition?' there came another problem, if I couldn't even do Adventurer jobs in this city to support myself, how can I even enroll myself in such an academy in the first place. Then it hit me, "Wait..." The lady stopped and turned back "Yes?" she said "I can't take quests from the guild until I've graduated right?" I asked "Well yes, I've already explained that part-" "Does the that rule apply only to Capital city guilds?" I asked "Well..." She started looking through her handbook, which was brought out because I needed rule-orientation

She closed the book and said "No, there's nothing here about taking quests at Delacour city's minor guilds, as long as their guild master is alright with it..." I clasped my hands and said: "Thank you"

I asked for a map and checked out the small towns near Delacour city, there were quite a few to check out. But I needed a town with constant-workload, otherwise I'll never be able to save up money in order to graduate from Golden wing.

'It's just like my old world, even though it's magical...'
