Sometimes you think relationships gets stronger over the years but in some cases it's not really true, even though you have a long time relationship, one mistake or your partner hunger over old love, the relationship will end too.
You never know what truly hurts until you sit back and analyze all the things that do hurt. And what truly hurts is the one thing that makes your heart clench tighter. Makes you grunt with pain for a second. Lots of things hurt. But there's one thing that hurts the most, his betrayal. 'This is karma getting back on me'. Lilian thoughts to herself. 'I only wanted persue my love and be loved by someone, this is wrong'. Tears welled up her eyes again thinking about her baby in the stomach.
The dazzling sunshine woke her from her sleep, reminding her that she dozed off to sleep after heavily cried. Marcus was no where seen. After washing her face, she went outside the balcony and took a deep breath. When the light elements within her sensed the fresh air, she grew excited after a thought difted out. She truly does feel like she have grown up. She would carefully plan to leave Marcus and this place. She hope to be separated from the most familiar person and places of her life.
"Lillian, it's time to eat breakfast." Mom Huang voice carried over from the kitchen.
"Coming!" At this moment, Lillian truly wish to cherish the short amount of times she would have with Marcus's family before her departure. She hurriedly ran downstairs. The whole Huang's family were there sitting in a circle around the dining table.
"Ah. Eat some more Lillian. Your baby won't be able to get nutritious if you, the mommy don't eat well." Mother benevolently added more and more food onto her bowl.
"You should eat too mom. You can be at ease, I will definitely eat more and keep my baby safe." Lillian replied but they wouldn't know that she have plan to leave for Canada where her distant cousin's staying. She's planning to stay over there and after giving birth, she will starts looking for a job. She still have to feed and care for her baby. Since Marcus didn't really love her at all, only took the responsibility for her womb,, she have to cared for herself and baby well. Lillian thoughts to herself and sighed, although heartbroken and heart pierced by thousand needles, this would seem to be best arrangement after all.
After breakfast, Lillian went back to the bedroom. Marcus, Father Huang and the rest went to the company as they have meeting today, only Mother Huang stayed home. Inside her room, she opened her laptop and emailed her distant cousin from her maternal side, Feng Ye. Since Feng Ye had an IT company to manage and run, she might as well get a job in his company too.
"It's been a while since I've last emails to him, I will see if he reply me or not." Lillian said after a long pause and looking at the email address in her diary. She typed few words and then emailed him, hoping his email address never change.
"I haven't talked to him in ages, I wonder if he still remembers me." Lillian thoughtfully said as she reminisced about her young school days. During all that times and after her parents death, it was he who would come to her aids if anythings goes wrong. But after his father passed away from cancer, Feng Ye whole family migrated to Canada where his mom's families stayed.
"Lillian? Oh my goodness, why did she emailed me after so long. How's she? Is she alright?!" Feng Ye gasped after reading his email, nearly forgetting his old distant cousin. Lillian's mom and Feng Ye's father are cousin related that why, he would happily shoulder her from any harms. She's was that cute little sister who always prank on him when young. Feng Ye difted his thoughts away.
"He's not replying to my messages, which means he's probably forget about me." Lillian sighed at the delivered sign. Maybe he's busy now. I should wait for another 1-2 days more.
After few hours passed, Lillian let out a burst of light laughter, the sound echoing in her empty room. Feng Ye replied her. "Hello cute sis. What's up? Are you eating right? Its have been so long you contacted me. Are you alright? Are you.....?" Suddenly with all his caring questions, Lillian's eyes redden. She never thoughts, this distant cousin brother still cares for her. Feng Ye was older than her 5-6 years.
Lillian emailed back, telling him about her life, her baby and her plans. Feng Ye replied thus giving her his mobile number and told her, he would help her likes old times. She exchanged her phone number through 'We Chat'. "Bro, this my mobile phone number. Please save in your phone. I have save yours. Yr cutest sis." She texted him together with an icon 😘.

The start of holidays is always sublime. There's no worrying about traffic jammed, out of bed early, late for work, boss urgent matters, unsettled jobs and projects deadlines. We had a nice time enjoying ourselves and realised the joy of being with a joint family where everyone would take care of everyone else.
After spending some times in New York, holidays are almost over. Many of us are back to the hectic live. Lucas, Ruby, and James flew back to City-A while the Tang's families flew back to City-X. Dennis and Aaron stayed behind as they have business to attend.
