Chapter 2 - Dheer

Dheer Oberoi was the only child and also everyone's smile. Although he had received everyone's love from the very beginning, he was not arrogant at all. In fact, he was a very lively person and that was his charm. That was what attracted everyone towards him. He had his way to make everyone around him happy.

His family was from the business world and hold a strong position in the country. Although their family contributes a major part in the county's economy, they preferred to be low key and barely anyone in the country cared about them as they had always maintained a fair distance from the media and the news... People only knew about their company and the name of the head of the company and nothing else from their family. Thus it goes without saying that they were very humble and never look down on other people based on social status.

But being humble and keeping low key doesn't mean that people around them look down upon them. They had their own dominating aura that forced people to not take them lightly. And it was true also. When they were being good they were extremely good but once aggrieved they could wipe out anyone with just a flick of their finger. However, they were very righteous people and rarely aggravated.

Despite being lively and naughty, Dheer was an ace student from the beginning and was raised to be the successor of the company.

He had limited friends as to be precise only six. Three male and three female, who were all coupled among themselves except Dheer.

One of the girls named Aisha had a school friend Anshika who used to usually hang out with her and that's how she met Dheer. After some interactions, they became attracted to each other and began dating soon after. Slowly they fell in love with each other but Dheer's mother disliked Anshika for some reason which can't even be explained even by his mother herself. Somehow she felt Anshika wasn't fit for Dheer that's why when she saw Anaya in one of her friend's family functions she immediately decided to take her as her daughter in law. She loved everything about her and forced Dheer to marry Anaya asap without giving Dheer any time to think of a solution so that he could forget Anshika.

Even if Anshika was Aisha's friend she kinda disliked Dheer being with her. The reason?? Because people change. When they were in school they were friends but were separated in senior high due to transfer of Aisha's father to another city. So when she met Anshika after so many years she felt that she was different from what she used to be. She appeared to be gentle and pure from outside but after spending some time with her she began to feel that she was materialistic and was with Dheer only because of his money and power. Not only her but her boyfriend Arav and other friends also felt the same. This was confirmed when she left Dheer for another man who she thought was more rich and powerful than Dheer.

Because the Oberoi family maintained low key, Anshika didn't know the true wealth of Dheer. So when she met "richer person than him" she left him easily in the name of family pressure. But her ploy was easily seen by Dheer's friends. After they discovered her true face they tried to warn Dheer of her intentions but he refused to listen to them. He was a simple-minded person and was infatuated to her which he mistook for true love. So when she left her he tried everything to bring her back to his side but she refused. He thought she was truly forced by her family and decided to wait for her. When he told her that he would wait for her she didn't say anything. So Dheer took this as her confirmation that she would return to her one day. That's why when his mother asked him to marry Anaya he was hell bent to not get married to her. But upon being threatened by his mother's life and his friends supporting his mother he was left with no option to give in. For now. However, he decided to make everything clear with Anaya on their first wedding night.

Just like this, they were married having different motives in their mind.
