I wake up 19 hours later which surprises me how much I slept, so I quickly put all my armor on and get my weapons in their spots and wait for a few minutes before I get transported to that large white room once again.
[Heya~ It is time for the 9th mission! Take a look~]
[Mission #9, Monster King Zawd.
-Description: Your goal for this mission is to kill the Monster King Zawd. He has been attacking multiple settlements of survivors recently and has killed over 200 thousand of them. He is located within the depths of the forest you will all find yourselves in. Good luck, as he has an army.
-Time Limit: 7 hours.
-Rewards: 1000 xp. 1000 points. 35 stat points. 2500 Karma.
-Failure Penalty: Death.]
This monster king has killed over 200 thousand people already? That means it is obviously very strong. Not to mention that it apparently has an army. I have a bad feeling as I, along with everyone else, gets teleported by a white light.
When I look around I found there are actually a massive group of people with me this time, probably around 300 or so. I can see that most of them have just crappy leather armor and iron swords or spears, but it is better than before when they only had daggers.
The group eventually starts heading towards the depths of the forest where the monster king should be. I simply stay in the middle of the group since I can't get rid of this horrible feeling. I feel as if I am going to die with everyone else here, which is getting on my nerves.
We walk for probably around an hour before we reach the depths of the forest. There, we can see hell. There are probably ten thousand monsters, if not more. In addition to that, I can feel a very strong presence in the middle of that large army of monsters.
It is so strong that I feel like even 30 thousand of of that snake from the forest survival mission can't even injure it, which gives me the chills. Even I would probably only be able to fight 500 of the snakes with my current strength, and even then I would get injured.
When we reached the depths of the forest, so did the only few groups of people, so all 1000 of us are together now. The problem is, we are surrounded by 10000 monsters. There are stuff from tigers, wolves, foxes, ravens, falcons, turtles, lizards, goblins, orcs, ogres, imps and a bunch of other demon like monsters I don't know.
And they are all staring at me. Well, at my 1000 large group. I have no clue why they have not attacked as of now, but I assume it has to due with that very strong presence, or the monster king, if I am correct.
"You humans are always so cocky until you face death, huhuhu."
I suddenly heard a deep and creepy voice sound out from within the monster army and I could feel a bunch of goosebumps instantly form all around my body. I react by instinct and jumped 15 meters away from my previous spot, which saved my life.
A massive crater 10 meters wide formed directly from where I stood previously, killing the few hundred people who were standing around it. Luckily, a few hundred people were out of the range, while a few others saved their lives by jumping away from the area in time, like I did.
I could finally see what attacked when the dust disappeared. Standing in the middle of the crater is a 5 meter tall ogre, or that is what I think it is. It has green skin, 2 large and thick horns on it's head, bulging muscles all over it's body and it is holding onto a very big sword.
The sword is almost as big as it's body, so it is around 4 meters big. The damn ogre is so damn big that a few trees are smaller. I could tell that it was aiming for me with that attack, or else it wouldn't of landed on my spot directly.
"How boring. I thought you humans would be stronger since you dare come, but you are all weak trash. How boring indeed. I will let my monsters deal with you."
It spoke with it's deep and creepy voice again, then suddenly disappeared from my vision. This caused me to panic because I couldn't see it move at all. If it wanted to kill me there, my head would not be on my body currently.
That thought caused cold sweat to drip between my brows, while I silently cursed the screen. Why the fuck is this a tutorial mission!? This is bullshit! In the midst of my cursing of the screen, the 10000 strong monster army started attacking us. With us only having around 600 people left, how do we even stand a chance.
A few people did try and run, but there was no way to even do that, as we are completely surrounded by the monsters. I grit my teeth and tighten my grip on my sword and rush into the fray. Luckily, these monsters are not very strong. I could easily kill them with one or two hits.
The problem is the sheer amount of them. Every time I kill one, another takes its place. This kept repeating itself during the whole fight. I saw a fox rushing at me from the left, so I twisted my body mid slash and cut the fox in half while kicking the goblin that was in front of me, crushing it's head.
By this point in time, I was breathing heavily and covered in sweat. I look around the area and see only 100 or so people are still alive. They are being swarmed by monsters like I am, so they won't last long either.
This has got to be the most bullshit mission ever! I curse to myself while I cut down another few monsters with my sword. Eventually, due to my exhaustion, I finally couldn't block every attack anymore. I kept getting injuries all over my body, even if they are small.
4 hours into the fight, the remaining 30 people died, leaving me alone against 8700 or so monsters. We managed to kill over 10% of them, but that is all. A mere 10%. I look down at my body and see wounds everywhere, all bleeding heavily.
I could feel that my body didn't want to move anymore, but I forced it to do so. Finally, after another 30 minutes, I collapsed onto the ground, unable to move. I look at the sky for a moment before I lower my gaze.
The monsters surrounding me are approaching me with vicious looks on their faces. Am I going to die? Here? How sad. I wanted to see how far I could go, but I couldn't even complete the tutorial missions.
Although I am going to die, I don't feel much, just disappointment. Everybody dies one day, who cares if it is earlier or later? I simply close my eyes and wait for the monsters to tear me apart. I waited and waited and by the time a minute past, I felt something wrong and opened my eyes.
The monsters that were approaching me are no longer doing so. Rather, they aren't able to. The reason is they are all laying on the ground, dead. I was confused and shocked, so I forced my body to stand up and saw the reason why.
A man wearing a mask that covers the lower half of his face and wielding a purple sword is currently stabbing his sword into the chest of the monster king. Perhaps he felt my gaze, but when he removed his sword from the monster king's body, he turned to my way.
I could see a slight shock appear in his eyes when he saw me still alive, but that quickly disappeared, as did he. I could barely register anything before the white light covered me and teleported me back to my private room.
I look down at my body and know I will die with it like this. So, I grit my teeth and crawl over to the cabinet where I stored my final two regeneration potions and pulled one out. I popped the lid off and poured it all into my mouth.
All my wounds rapidly healed at a pace you could see with your eyes. The injuries that covered everywhere from my chest down rapidly closed up, getting replaced by new, fresh skin. I was still covered in blood, so I remove my scraps that used to be my armor and lay within the bath.
[You survived.... I am sorry about that mission. Something had interfered with it, raising the difficulty. By the time I realized what had happened, I wasn't able to change it. Once again, I am sorry. Here are the rewards.]

[You have leveled up~ You gained 2 stat points~]
[You have leveled up~ You gained 2 stat points~]
Gained lessened rewards. Figures I would... If I didn't I would of probably leveled up 5 times, huh. Since somebody who wasn't part of the mission killed Zawd, I gained nothing from him, is that it? How stupid. I nearly died because of some bullshit interference.
[I am aware of that. Which is why I will be giving you a bonus from me. You will be able to buy ANYTHING from the shop, no matter what it is, for 5000 points. You have 1 hour to do that.]
Holy shit, really? This will be very useful for me, since all of my stuff just broke into pieces, even my sword. After I got out of the bath I put some random clothes on and began looking at the shop while laying on my bed. Eventually, I found what I wanted to buy.
[Flexible Tiodote Armor: 5000 points.]
The armor looks like a suit but it has a very high defense. Well, of course it would. It is an armor I shouldn't be getting until I complete at least mission 50 of the normal missions. I instantly bought it and it appeared in front of me.
It really does look like a suit, huh. It is black in color and even comes with pants and shoes, how wonderful. I instantly strip off my normal clothes and put the armor clothes on. I could tell that it was very hard, but also very flexible.
I was very happy with this, so I smiled a bit. I remembered that I lost my sword as well, so I bought a new one from the shop for 3000 points. Rather than steel, it is made from a metal called Dionite, whatever that is. All I know it is a lot better than my last one.
Right, I still have 19 stat points. I put 9 into endurance, 5 into strength and 5 into agility, then I bring up my status.

I still have over 6000 points, huh. I look at the timer and see there is 8 hours until the next mission begins, so I figure I should look at the shops to see what is new.
[Dionite Sword: 3000 points.
-Dionite Spear: 3000 points.

-Dionite Helmet: 3000 points.
-Dionite Boots: 3000 points.
-Dionite Gloves: 2500 points.
-Dionite Guards: 2000 points.]
Everything is Dionite now, huh. The armor is similar to iron armor, but is made out of a different metal, so it is probably damn heavy. I am very lucky I was able to buy my flexible armor, huh. I directly skip the skill shop since I won't be using it.
[Clothes: 10~100 points.
-Food: 10~100 points.

-Potion of Regeneration: 5000 points.
-Potion of Strength: 2000 points.
-Potion of Agility: 2000 points.
-Potion of Dexterity: 2000 points.]
Oh? I can actually buy the regeneration potions? They are very expensive at 5000 points each, but they can easily save a life if they are used. I have one left so I won't buy one right now, but they will probably be bought a lot in the future.
By the time I was finished looking at all of the shops, there was only 10 minutes left to the break. I jump up off the bed and put my new sword onto the belt of the flexible armor and wait silently while leaning against the wall.
A few minutes later the white light covers me and it teleports me to the massive white room again. I instantly notice something off. There should only be 1000 people, but I could tell there was at least 5000 of them. I frown hard and silently move away from everybody, leaning against a corner.
[Heya~ Time for the final tutorial mission! Good luck~ Hehe~]
[Mission #10, Battle Royale 2.
-Description: There is a total of 7500 of you in this room. Here is your task! You need to kill each other! Fight each other! The mission will only end when there are 500 people left, so 7000 have to die! Hahahaha! Enjoy the slaughter!
-Time Limit: None.
-Rewards: 5000 points. 5000 xp. 50 stat points. 3000 Karma.
-Failure Penalty: Death.]
Dammit! It is another battle royale mission. 7000 people have to die? Holy shit that is insane. A total of 7500 people fighting it out here with no time limit? No thanks. I will just chill somewhere for a while until the numbers lessen.
Although I won't die against anybody here, the amount of people will just be annoying and will tire me out quickly. I look around and nimbly climb up a giant pillar and sit atop it, looking down at the chaos.
The last time I was in a battle royale it took a few minutes for people to start fighting. This time, they started fighting after a few seconds. Good thing I backed away before the mission began, huh. I calmly watch people kill others like they are their lifetime enemies.
I saw a few people with Dionite armor, and I was correct. The armor is pretty damn heavy. The people wearing Dionite armor are so damn slow I would be faster than them with less than half of my agility. Just how damned heavy is that armor? I bet they regret buying it now, haha.
I notice that whenever someone dies, their body gets covered in white light and teleported somewhere else after a minute, which is obviously thanks to the screen. With all of the bodies out of the way, people can kill others easier.
I don't know how long has passed, maybe 8 hours? There is only 3000 people left alive from the original 7500. Looking at the amount left, I figure I should join in now, huh. I jump off the pillar and cut the head off of a group of 5 who were around it.
I got covered with their blood instantly, but I don't mind. Rather, I enjoy it. I am becoming a psycho recently, huh. Well whatever, it doesn't change my mindset much, I just like killing more than before. I unknowingly smile while I run around chopping people up with my sword.
I pierce through the gaps of those with armor, cutting their vital points. For those with no heavy armor, I just cut their heads off or pierce their hearts with my sword. Thanks to my Sword Mastery skill reaching level 2, I can use the sword a lot better than before.
A group of 15 or so came and surrounded me, a few of them having some good shields. They push at me and attempt to block me, but I just simply stab out with my sword a few times. I could easily see the flaws of these people holding the shields, so I stabbed at them, cutting off their wrists or arms.
Limbs flew into the air wherever I passed by and the numbers quickly dropped lower. From 3000 to 2500 to 2000 to 1500 to 1000. And finally, 500. By the time I killed a group of 8 a white light covered the remaining people who were filled with fear.
When they saw the white light cover them, I could see and hear all of them cheering while also crying. I knew they were scared completely by my slaughter, but who cares? I don't give a crap about these random people who will die soon anyways.
When I got teleported back to my private room, I took off the flexible armor and jumped into the bath to clean myself off, since I was drenched in blood from those I killed earlier.
[You are crazy~ You really were made for this type of world, where slaughter is allowed~ Hehe~ Here are your rewards!]

Looking at my stats I am damn happy since they are very high now. When I got out of the bath and put the flexible armor back on, I just sat onto my bed when I felt a massive amount of pain assault my body and brain. Not even being able to scream, I directly fainted from the pain.
