"Dragon Sage Secret Art: Tsukuyomi Resonate"
Catherine began casting the spell in a desperate attempt to stop his friend, Her body was quickly covered with marks and her eyes change color, The sclera became nothing but black and her pupils became red.
It's like casting the spell turned her into a Demon, The sky around them turned dark and the entire surrounding began to have a redish scarlet color.
After casting the spell she immediately took her stance. "What's going on?? What is this???" Ryūsei asked. "This spell is called "Tsukuyomi Resonate" a Dragon Sage Secret Art created by your granddaughter." Jikan replied.
"She created this spell from studying the remnants you and your future wife left behind. It's her final trump card" Jikan added.
"Eclipse Dragon Moonlight Sonata" Catherine then casted a spell and Catherine's right hand was then covered with a blackish aura. She then quickly charges straight for the Corrupted Elementalist but something is different this time, She charges in the direction of left, straight, jumps up and right and in the instant there were four Catherines.
The Corrupted Elementalist was confused on which of them he should attack giving the chance for her to directly attack him, All the Catherines landed the attack and disappeared after the attack. They weren't illusion as they did physically damage the Corrupted Elementalist.
The Corrupted Elementalist was pissed flames began roaring at his mouth as he was trying to hit Catherine. But the flames that came out of his mouth instantly returned to him, burning him instantly.
The Corrupted Elementalist began to run another rampage, Rainbow spheres then surrounded him once again.
"Catherine watch out!!!!" Ryūsei yelled as he tries to get up. The Rainbow spheres were launched and was headed straight for Catherine. But Catherine didn't bother to move she just smirked happily.
"You don't make the rules, Chad" She implied as she then smirks. "I do, After all..... this is my world" The Rainbow spheres then vanish to thin air.
The Corrupted Elementalist began to roar as he was pissed but in an instant Catherine was in front of him. "Eclipse Dragon Moonlight Sonata" Catherine then casted a spell and Catherine's right hand was then covered with a blackish aura.
She punches the Corrupted Elementalist and knocks him to the ground. Soon the ground then quickly spawned spikes that quickly penetrated him around his body making him bleed in pain.
They continued to fight over and over with Catherine overpowering the Corrupted Elementalist. But soon Ryūsei notices something in Catherine's face.
"Jikan, What's going on, Why is there blood flowing out of Catherine's eyes" He worriedly asked. Jikan didn't replied and remained silent.
Ryūsei then approaches Jikan grabbing his neck and yelled "Tell me!!!! What's going on, Why is her eyes bleeding" He asked once again.
"It's the drawback of the spell." Jikan replied and Ryūsei let's go of him.
"Tsukuyomi Resonate is a powerful spell, It creates a redish scarlet environment that let's the user bend reality itself. As if the user was editing reality itself" Jikan added.
"You're saying a spell this powerful is in a hands of a teenager" Ryūshi asked. "But still the drawback of the spell is you're sacrificing your entire life" Jikan replied.
The fight continued more and more and like before the Corrupted Elementalist was being overpowered by Catherine. Every attack he makes, Every spell he does was useless against her.
The Corrupted Elementalist was on the ground overpowered by the young teenager. Catherine was about to end this terror once and for all.
"Eclipse Dragon Moonlight Sonata" Catherine then casted a spell and Catherine's right hand was then covered with a blackish aura. She slowly approaches the Corrupted Elementalist with her final attack but unfortunately something happened that change the course of the fight.
Her body couldn't take the drawback any longer, She fell to the ground her head was bleeding all over, Her eyes were bleeding and worst of all..... her entire body was covered with wounds and injuries.
"I can't feel my legs" Catherine muttered as she couldn't move anymore. Things couldn't get any worse but luck wasn't on there side today... Things got a lot worse. "Catherine!!!!!" Ryūsei shouted as he quickly ran to Catherine.
"Catherine..." Ryūsei then began to tear up as he saw his future granddaughter cover in blood and was slowly disappearing. Her hands and legs slowly start to disappear making its way up.
"It's okay grandpa..." She smiled. "I've risked everything once I've casted the spell". Ryūsei then began to cry. "If I happen to disappear... At least I'll still live on inside your memories" She added as more parts of her body continue to fade away.
"Jikan!!!! Jikan!!! Do something!!!" Ryūsei yelled. "I'm sorry Ryūsei... There's nothing I can do..... The timeline had changed drastically" Jikan replied as he slowly clenched his fist full of regret not being able to do something. "That final act she pulled.... drained most of my mana...." Jikan replied.
"Catherine!!!!" Ryūsei continued to yell as he holds her. "Catherine!!!!!" Ryūsei kept yelling and yelling while seeing her slowly fade away.
"Grandpa..... I hope you and Grandma have eternal happiness" She happily said before she faded away from existence.
As Catherine faded away from existence the redish scarlet environment was now gone and the Corrupted Elementalist slowly stands up.
He slowly walks towards Ryūsei with the presence to kill. "You took everything away from her..." Ryūsei quietly muttered. He then glares at the Corrupted Elementalist with rage and fury in his eyes.
A tremendous amount of energy began to leak out of Ryūsei's entire body as an aura of white appeared flowing through every direction. "Ryūsei..... Don't let your anger get the best of you, We need to think thing's rationally-" Ryūsei then shouted interrupting Ryūshi. "Shut Up!!!!" Ryūsei yelled as tears continue to flow from his eyes.
"How can I call myself the Grand Elementalist if I can't even protect my granddaughter" Ryūsei yelled. "I was weak, I just sat there and watch her risked everything...." He then wipes the tears from his eyes. "Some Grand Elementalist I am..... I should've be the one to disappear instead of her".
"Dragon Sage Secret Art: King's Blade Release!!!!!" The black ring in Ryūsei's hand began to glow and soon it transformed into the Legendary King's Blade.
He was about to remove the scabbard but Ryūshi then shouted "Ryūsei!!! What are you doing?!!!" He ignores Ryūshi and removes the scabbard. The minute he removes the scabbard he quickly fell down to his knees due to the Dragon King Blade draining his mana. "It's dangerous to exert yourself" Ryūshi yelled.
"I don't care what happens to me after this..... but I can't let you get away especially after everything that happened" He then slowly starts to stand up. "It's true.... I'm by far the weakest Grand Elementalist that existed". Ryūsei manages to stand up but unfortunately he was exhausted so he used the Dragon King's Blade as a support to stand up.
"But there is one thing I can certain... Your regeneration and healing exceeded any Demon and Elementalist I've seen so far....." He then begins to smirk. "But no matter how strong your regeneration is... I'll keep cutting you again and again even if this sword kills me". Ryūsei almost fell down due to the King's Blade draining his remaining mana but luckily he uses the blade as a support to stand up.
"Dragon Sage Secret Art: The White Meteor!!!!!" He then activated his ability and tremendous amount of energy leaked out from his body covering him with a whitish aura.
With the whitish aura covering his body, His physical attributes were enhanced and his mana recovery was greatly improved to the peak of it's limit.
"Looks like he finally used his big brain of his" Ryūshi happily smiled. "What do you mean??" Jikan asked. "Ryūsei's ability is quite special, And he finally found a way inorder to use the King's Blade in his current state" He then looks at Ryūsei. "Right now, Ryūsei is at the peak of his power" Ryūshi happily said.
The Corrupted Elementalist then roared at Ryūsei releasing a shockwave so devastating that it knocks down every tree in the surrounding area.
He releases a rainbow energy blast using his right hand and the rainbow energu blast was heading straight for Ryūsei.
"This fight is now pointless" Ryūsei quietly muttered. He then swings the King's Blade releasing a shockwave cutting the blast.
The Corrupted Elementalist then began roaring as not only did Ryūsei cut the blast but he was also able to cut of his right arm in the process. "I'm sorry is it painful???" Ryūsei asked with a smirk on his face while slowly walking towards the Corrupted Elementalist.
He then slashes his sword once again cutting off his the Corrupted Elementalist right leg. The Corrupted Elementalist roared once again but this time he slowly runs away from Ryūsei.
The leg that Ryūsei cut off extended it's spikes like what happened to Kasai but luckily Ryūsei quickly slashes his blade cutting of the spikes.
He then slowly approaches the Corrupted Elementalist. "Does it hurt???" Ryūsei smirked as he quickly slashes his sword injuring the the Corrupted Elementalist greatly causing him to fall down to the ground.
"Because of you Catherine is now gone!!!!" Ryūsei yelled as he grabs the Corrupted Elementalist by the neck. The Corrupted Elementalist then regenerated his arm and he quickly throws Ryūsei upward.
"Meteor Dragon Lightedge Ray!!!!" Ryūsei then casted a spell and a tremendous white energy blast made from Meteor Dragon energy was released from his hands.
The white energy blast is heading straight for the Corrupted Elementalist, The Corrupted Elementalist tried to stand up but it was pointless due to thw fact that his body was being held to the ground by blades made of light stabbed in his feet and shoulders.
Ryūsei must've stabbed the Corrupted Elementalist multiple times without him noticing he was stabbed. The white energy blast then hits the Corrupted Elementalist causing a tremendous explosion.
After the explosion occured and the smoke cleared away, The Corrupted Elementalist was standing in the middle of a gigantic crater but his body was burnt and steam can be seen coming out of his body.
Ryūsei then landed and the ground and slowly goes down to the center of the crater where the Corrupted Elementalist was standing but he was then shocked when he discovered something.
The right part of his face wasn't anymore corrupted but eyes were still closed. "C...C... Catherine!!!" The Corrupted Elementalist began to spoke.
Ryūsei was shocked as he heard him spoke, "H....H....Help me..." The Corrupted Elementalist once speak again this time opening his eyes. The corruption then corrupted him again and the Corrupted Elementalist was about to attack Ryūsei.
"Meteor Dragon Photon Fist" He quickly casted a spell gathering a tremendous amount of Meteor Dragon energy in his right hand, He then punches the Corrupted Elementalist knocking it him outside the crater.
Ryūsei then quickly gets out of the crater and approaches Ryūshi and Jikan. "What's the problem???" Ryūshi asked as he slowly grabs his sword. "Is Kasai gonna be okay??" Ryūsei asked. "He'll be fine now, It took a little longer to stop the bleeding" Ryūshi replied.
"Where's the Corrupted Elementalist??" Ryūshi asked. "Well you see.... about that" Ryūsei replied making Ryūshi and Jikan more curious.
