"Feng! Feng!" I screamed ecstatically as I burst through the doors, practically jumping and running.
Zhu Feng didn't get a chance to prepare himself for Yun Anong's body slam. He let out a small groan from her ultimate jump and hug.
"Heavy..." Zhu Feng complained, but he did not push Anong off him. He laid in the same position he was forced into. One arm on the sofa head with one arm and leg almost on the ground.
"Hehe," I didn't even feel sorry for what I did to him. "I miss you!"
I continued to hug him tightly. "Really! Really miss you!"
"You're making me feel uncomfortable." Zhu Feng tried to shift into a more comfortable position. He examined Yun Anong up and down, "Are you really the Anong, I know?"
I rolled my eyes, "It'll only last for today."
"You look fine?" Feng tapped her forehead with his finger. Then he roughly ruffled up the hair she had just finished fixing. "Doesn't appear that it has turned for the worst."
"Well, I only survived thanks to this." I put my slender fingers in front of Zhu Feng's face. As if showing off the crescent moon ring, I elegantly flipped my hand front and back.
Zhu Feng's eyes landed on the hand that had a white cloth wrapping around it. Then without any warning, he took the ring off my finger.
He brought the ring closer to his eyes for a closer inspection. Yup, Yun Anong did release the liquid inside the ring. The shine is missing from the gems. To do it, there is a tiny hidden needle hidden underneath the star next to the crescent moon. She must have struggled when trying to do it or else it wouldn't have caused such a wound on her palm.
Still, it doesn't mean she won't have an issue using the ring, especially with how small the needle is. Who knows when the needle will accidentally stab her finger while wearing it, again.
Zhu Feng shivered remembering what happened when it did happen. The special clear liquid inside the gem will help Yun Anong get rid of the pain and suffering when it attacks her. However, it will give her the opposite effect if she accidentally injects the liquid into her body when she is not being attacked by it.
This was the reason why she had created a simpler item ever since then. More like she was forced to create a new item since Zhu Feng refused to let her put on the ring ever again, unless necessary.
"Where is your hairpin?" Zhu Feng put the ring in her palm and not back on her finger. "Don't wear it."
"I lost it?"
"Lost!" Zhu Feng shouted, taking Yun Anong by surprise, causing her to flinch. "Where did you-"
Zhu Feng stopped talking and stared at whatever was behind me. I followed his gaze to find Tang Liang standing there with a makeup remover package in his hand. Clearly, Tang Liang wanted to say something but was unable to say anything either.
"Oh, you're finally back." I got off Zhu Feng, it would look weird if someone else walked in on us. From the outsiders' point of view, we were in the middle of getting saucy.
"Y-yeah," Tang Liang stuttered, squeezing the makeup wipe remover.
I nodded in approval on how clean he had cleaned off the ink. If not, I would have helped him when he gets home. It was just a little punishment from me.
"Hey Liang, it's been a long time." Zhu Feng smirked, continuing to lay in the position Yun Anong had pushed him into.
"Y-yeah... Welcome back, Feng." Tang Liang couldn't stop himself from stuttering.
I made a 'tch' sound to show Zhu Feng my disapproval for his behavior. Right now, his appearance and position are screaming 'Playboy'! His black hair was messily covering his eyes along with star diamond earring on each ear.
Snapping my fingers in front of Tang Liang's face, I brought him back to reality.
"Surprised?" I smiled, putting my hands on my hip.
"Very..." Tang Liang gave Yun Anong half a smile. "I have a headache. I'm going to go rest."
I watched as Tang Liang go upstairs with his shoulders slump. Was I too harsh by drawing on his face? Didn't he just get up when he called me earlier?
"Stop having other thoughts," Zhu Feng smacked me lightly on my head. "Let's get down to the real business."
"Sure," I beckoned Zhu Feng to follow me to my soundproof bedroom.
No one knows this besides a few people. Even Tang Liang does not know this when he spends more time in this house compare to me.
It's also a secret that I had occasionally visited Country Z in the last seven years. The only person who knew I came back was Tang Liang. I couldn't avoid him when he lived here versus my parents and siblings.
Zhu Feng made himself at home on my pure white couches while I sat across from him.
"Are you really going to do it?"
I sipped the hot tea that Amelia had finished brewing for us. "Why not? I have been all this time."
He didn't have anything else to say or object what she was planning to do next. Once Anong makes up her mind, even he couldn't change it.
"Here," I slide the documents of Mu Yi and my signature on the newly agreed terms. "You'll be visiting Mu Yi every day until the project shooting is over."
"What!" Zhu Feng picked up the document and flipped through the pages until the last page. "W-w-why?"
I watch as Zhu Feng's hand trembled, trying to put down the cup. Let's just say it was bad enough that he almost spilled the small amount of tea left inside.
"You 'are' the other CEO of New Image. It won't make a difference if it's you or me." I shrugged.
"You're kidding me, right?" Zhu Feng flipped the page back and forth to check he wasn't seeing things. Mu Yi obviously fell into Anong's trap. "You sly fox! Giving yourself a loophole in this."
I threw the pillow next to me and hit him right in the face.
"Careful, this sly fox might just make you fall into a bigger trap than Mu Yi."
"Ahhh! I'm so scared!" Zhu Feng screamed like a teenage girl then laughed. "So what is going to happen here on?"
"Lots of things," I took another sip of my tea. "I'm just getting all my players in place before the real war starts."
