I ran down the street. The cafe I'm meeting Jenny at is only a couple blocks away. I think I'll make it there only ten minutes late. I hope she won't get mad at me.
I stop at the cross walk because of a red light. I better text Jenny to tell her I'll be late... again.
Lisa: Jenny I'm running late. I'll be there in about ten minutes.
Jennifer: You can't keep doing this! You're going to get into serious trouble one day for this. What time did you get up?
Lisa: 7:00. I swear it won't happen again❤️
I look up from my phone. I see the blinking red hand and 4 seconds across the street. "Shit!" I start running but I only make it a quarter of the way there before time is up. A car comes out and it doesn't see me. BAAM!
I flew across the street and landed in the middle of the intersection. Everything hurts. I try to move but I can't. I see people surrounding me but their turning black. My vision starts to black. "Shiiiiit! I'm in so much trouble. Miss are you ok? Someone call 911!" Says the voice of a man with orange hair I think? Maybe it's green, pink? I can't tell everything's going black. I feel his hands on me and I'm picked up. It hurts so much I think I'm going to pass out. I put my hand on his face and caressed his cheek.
"Your skins soft. Jennifer...you jinxed me" I say as I black out.
I wake up in a hospital bed. I look around and see a man sitting in a chair close to the door. He's white, has curly orange hair, green eyes, and a he looks like he's at least 6ft tall. I sit up. "Owwww," I say as I sit up. Everything feels so sore. The man stands up and walks Over to me.
"Hey take it easy. You just flew across the street three hours ago," says the man. One of my biggest pet peeves is not knowing peoples names.
"Hey umm this probably isn't the right thing to be asking right now but... what's your name? I'm Lisa by the way,"I say a little embarrassed.
"Haha," the man laughs as he puts his hand on the back of his head. "My names Daniel."
"Cool,"I say. "So how did I get here?"
"You don't remember?"
No the last thing I remember was that I was running late for my meeting with Je-Oh shit! I'm late I jump out of the bed.
