Severe condition. Healer of Equilibrium. The power of strange energy.
Sel Er.
I did not know what to do. Skal did not move and did not show any of life, despite all the actions of Alyona. The girl had used all her spells, but nothing had worked. The healing potion didn't work either. Why didn't the spells work? Did Skal have his last rebirth?
It was also surprising that Mohr tried to heal Skal, but his death magic did not have any effect either. I looked at my friend's broken armor, and I felt bad. Blood, all this blood again. I thought that I had already got used to it, but memories of my relatives appeared before my eyes.
"I can't do anything." The girl sat down next to me, squeezing the staff so hard that her knuckles turned white. "None of the spells I know work." I ... I don't know why.
"Why didn't he say that he had no reincarnations left? Or did this artifact take away everything at once?" I felt awful.
Everything was spinning before my eyes. It seemed that half of my brain suddenly ceased to function.
My limbs ceased to obey my commands, and then the control returned. I couldn't understand my condition. Something was wrong. It was hard to breathe, I wanted to sleep, and the pain in my head made my eyes squint. I lay down on the ground and could not get up. The voices around me suddenly became somehow indistinct.

I did not know how much time I had been in this state, but at some point, I felt warm. Light energy with a golden glow enveloped me, and it felt so good that I could honestly say that I had never felt this way before. All my feelings gradually returned to me, and I saw the healer in front of me.
Some strange energy enveloped her, which was not similar to the previous one. Darkness and light swirled around her, but it was obvious that she was not able to control this force. Her eyes blazed with the gray flame and looked a little creepy. A part of this energy enveloped both Skal and me.
It seemed that this force penetrated the very soul. There was no pain, only a little heat, but it was scary as I felt the full power of this incredible energy. I tried to take some part of this energy with the help of my accumulation ability, but nothing came of it.
At some point, it was all over - the energy disappeared, and the healer looked at me with surprise and incomprehension.
All the feelings returned to me, and I squeezed her hand, then I unclenched and repeated this simple action several times. Definitely, something had changed, but what? However, all my questions disappeared when I saw Skal rise.
"Skal!" I was so glad. I approached my friend, who did not understand anything.
"What happened?" he asked, looking around.
"It doesn't matter now." I sighed and asked, "How many reincarnations do you have left?"
"I don't know. The message hasn't jumped out yet," he answered, and my fear finally disappeared.
"That's strange energy." The Death Herald approached us and looked at the healer. "Even I feared this tremendous power at one point. What have you done?"
"I don't know," the girl replied distractedly. "At first I tried all my spells, but when it didn't work out, Sel Er's words came to me. And I tried to create something else, something that could bring Skal back to life.
The staff and the strange energy responded, and now I have the ability to "Restore the Equilibrium". There is no description for it, so I don't know how it works.
"I see. It means you have to look for something."
"I'll have to ask my father," Lintirionel said. "He might know something, or perhaps he can ask those who have more information about Reynea and the unique classes.
"Now we have to resurrect the rest," Hyde said.
"Will they attack us again?" asked the magician.
"No. Otherwise they would have done it a long time ago," the elf answered. "By the way, Alyona, I have an offer for you. You see, in our team, there is no healer, so can I suggest that you join us? You showed yourself well enough that you can be relied on during any raids."
"And we won't cope with Kroark without the ability to heal." Hyde grinned.
"I'm not asking for an answer now," Lintirionel said. "But think about this thoroughly."
"Alright," said the girl and continued her work.
"We ought to talk to the spikers now," said Derergon, who had to take four healing potions just so that his own ability did not kill him. "Who is the chief among you?"
"The one who defeated the head," the big spiker answered. "It turns out to be you."
"Hmm ..." Derergon wondered. "It is all good, of course, but I cannot take care of the spikers too. I need to know how you are going to live and what you wish to do next."
"Well, certainly not fight." Another warrior sighed. "Narr Nutt has already extinguished our militancy for decades to come, and we have become significantly less in number because of his decisions. So now I want to live in peace."
"I am glad to hear that." The leader of the mercenaries nodded. "But I still would like to change something. Which of your men, let's say, is the most peaceful?"
"Inir," a couple of dozen spikers answered immediately.
"Fine, then bring him here."
"We'll have to wait since he died and will not be revived soon," the old warrior answered.
"Alyona, will you be able to revive this spiker?" asked Derergon.
"Yes, if they can just show me where he is."
"We will show you," their former enemies said and headed off somewhere, and we followed them.
