Chapter 7 - Forced Reveal

He took a plate of food and looked for an empty space in the back of the mess hall before hearing her voice calling him, "Aaron, come here, sit here," She pointed at a seat next to her. He sat down with her and her friends and they were all confused by her actions. She tapped his shoulder and he turned to look at her to listen to her but then she placed her hands on his head and pulled him towards her and kissed him. Her friends gasped and then other people noticed it and everything seemed to stop. He was known as the worst knight before and she was just the best knight. He had no idea why she was doing it, but she had her eyes closed and was very passionate about her kiss, "Thank you, Aaron."

"What just happened?" One of her friends asked.

"Selene? Are you okay? You just kissed the worst knight."

"Do you think I don't know what I am doing? You think I am crazy?"

"No, just, that, Aaron is."

"My boyfriend now, yeah, I know that, Giella, I know that, and I am happy about it," She smiled as Aaron slowly regained his senses and began eating.

"He has no idea about that."

"He is just surprised, aren't you, Aaron?" She asked with a cute smile on her face, "He confessed to me and I decided to give it a try."

"Wrong," Aaron corrected her, "You were going to confess to me first, but were too nervous to."

"Don't lie like that, you confessed first," She responded, "Well, whatever, did you girls find a partner for the festival?"

"No, not yet, I was thinking of asking Henry."

"I don't know, I was going to ask William, but George is tempting too."

"I have mine."

"So do I," The two girls sitting next to each other answered, "We are going together," They smiled and the others laughed, "What?"

"No, no, we knew that already."

"Oh, oops, too obvious, Julie."

"I guess we were, Marie."

They left the mess hall together as Aaron received menacing looks from William, he looked away and then realized that his blade had been broken, "Hey, Selene, do you think I can get a new blade soon?"

"I don't know, never broke mine, maybe you could ask Mr. Grim?"

"Yeah, I'll do that."

"Okay, well, I'll probably be in the main hall, going to be talking about you I think."

"Talk all you want," He said as she kissed his cheek. He blushed and then began walking towards Mr. Grim's quarters. He knocked on the door and he opened it for him, "Good evening, Mr. Grim."

"Good evening, Aaron, what brings you here?"

"Well," He drew his blade, "I only have the hilt."

"What did you do?"

"Um, do I have to tell you?"

"Another day, if you don't want to tell me, I won't care, so you need a new blade?"

"Yes, do you know where I can get one?"

"Come in, if you get a school blade you will break it again."

"Not made for strong?"

"No, but I do have this for you," He took a blade down from a blade rack and handed it to Aaron, "One of my own."

"This is, your strong blade?"

"Yes, it is," Aaron drew the blade. It was a long blade, with a small point. It's hilt was gold and black and its guard was a flat cross guard with a curving end that bent down towards his hand, "It is heavier than your former blade, but it is stronger, it has survived a few years, and it should for a few more years, easily."

"Thank you, so much, Mr. Grim."

"My pleasure, now, that hand of yours, what did you do to it?"

"Same reason my blade is broken."

"Ah, well, you will tell me about it another day then."

"I will probably, but tonight, I won't be training."

"Let your hand recover, and your body too, have a good evening, Aaron."

"Thank you, Mr. Grim."
