He held his blade in his right hand and passed the fingers of his bandaged hand over it, "Worst one," He looked up and saw William standing alone with his blade draw, "You embarrass me with a lucky move and then you take my Selene, how dare you."
"Why is she yours?" He laughed, "She chose me, not you, so she isn't your or mine, she doesn't belong to anyone."
"How did you deceive her in doing that? What threat did you put upon her?"
"Why am I evil in your eyes?"
"Because you can't be the worst one and go out with the best one."
"Yes, I can, and I was the worst one, I am no longer the worst knight," He stood and sheathed his new blade, "I have no want to fight you."
"But you will need to!" He lunged forwards and Aaron dodged to the side, "You can't take everything from me!"
"I took nothing, you just try to be like her, and you can't, you copy her style and claim to be your own knight, you are nothing but a copy."
"Shut up! You bastard!"
"I might not know my father, but that is because he died when I was born, so did my mother, you should learn to find new insults, it would make you less pathetic," He said, turning his back on William again, "Leave me be, and it will allow you to find your way to being a better knight."
"You little, bastard."
"Once again, I am no bastard, I am an orphan, if that is what you mean."
"Fight me, stop running."
"I have somewhere to be, you probably should go see if Jenny is still wanting to ask you to be her partner for the festival."
"Jenny? Jenny Killian? That Jenny?"
"Yes, Jenny Killian, she was talking about it at dinner."
"You are messing with me."
"I have no reason to, and may our father punish me if I lie."
"I will believe you for this time, but this isn't over," He sheathed his blade and left, "The Worst Knight."
"Sure, sure," He looked at his hand once more and then sighed, "I wish I had some sort of gauntlet, maybe I am allowed to do so, I'll ask Ms. Grenji, she should know," He walked away from William and towards the main hall where Selene would be hanging out with her friends still.
He pushed open the door to the main hall and everyone turned to look at him. He felt a weird feeling from everyone paying attention to him. He walked over to Selene and sat next to her, "Hey, why is everyone staring at me?" He whispered into her ear. She smiled at him and said nothing before someone answered his question.
"Is it true that you took on four higher year knights?"
"And defeated them even taking them on without a blade?"
"And blocked a blade with your bare hand to save Selene?"
"Holy, oh, that is what you told them, um, yeah, I did that, but, she didn't mention the state they were in after, right?"
"Apparently you savagely beat them after."
"Okay, so that is not how I am normally."
"You are a hero."
"No, I am not, I am no longer a zero, but maybe not a hero," Selene kissed his cheek, making Rebecca smile.
"My hero."
"T-Thank you, Selene," His stammer made everyone laugh and he began laughing with them, "Well, I am going to go sleep, Selene, see you tomorrow?"
"Of course, silly, see you tomorrow."
