Walking past the three of them Mingyue and Xiao Zhen finally took a taxi and reached the police station. They went to the officer and asked for the wallet. The officer told them to wait a little for the confirmation. The officer took out the ID card and after comparing the ID photo and Mingyue's face the officer handed her the wallet.
Mingyue asked about the person who sent the card to the police station to thank them personally. The officer was a little sceptical about it at first then he quickly remembered that the person told him to hand over the contact information if the girl in the id photo asked about it. So the officer gave the contact number and wechat id to Mingyue. She thanked the officer and came out of the police station with Xiao Zhen.
Xiao Zhen asked- "Are you really planning to contact this person?"
"Yes, this person helped me this much so I should at least say thanks."
"Yeah I also think so but be careful, the world is full of scammers."
"Don't worry I am not going to meet them personally, I will only send a thank you through text."
"That's good then."
"Okay let's go back to the school." Xiao Zhen & Mingyue went back to attend their class in the afternoon.

"Have you heard about the seminar of excellent alumni of our university?"
"Yes! I have heard about that."
"I heard our school invited them to give speech about their achievements."
"You are right. There is going to be only five alumni this time. Although our school has had many amazing seniors but this time they only choose to invite these five people."
"Wow really!? That's great! We are going to see all those outstanding and successful seniors." Chattering of students talking about this year annual event was heard in the classroom.
"I also heard that this year senior Wei Yichen and senior Bai Li Hua are going to attend."
"Whoa is it true?"
"Yeah it's true."
"I heard that after graduating senior Yichen never attended this programme."
"Me too! I heard senior Yichen used to be the most outstanding student of our school."
"That's right! He used to be the best of the best, good in everything be it academic and sports."
"Not only is that but his appearance also immaculate! He used to be the school hunk. I heard there were arrays of girls confessing their love for him, giving him love letters. But he never responded to any of that."
"Wait! Why does this situation sound kind of familiar?" The students then turned their heads to look at the direction of Mingyue."
"Hey don't you think this situation is exactly similar to our Mingyue?" someone pointed it out
"Yes I think so too!"
"No matter what good looking people will always continue to receive love confessions regardless of male or female, after all who doesn't like beauty?"
"And on the top of that our Mingyue is a beauty with a brain just like our senior Yichen."
"Do you think if senior Yichen was here then perhaps they could have been a couple."
"I agree! Senior brother Yichen and Mingyue would have made such a wonderful couple."
"But I heard a rumour" someone said.
"What rumour?" others asked.
"I heard senior Li hua used to like him and they are childhood sweetheart, although she has never explicitely confessed to senior Yichen and they have never dated officially during their academic year but everyone knows that the reason he used to reject everyone because of herand similarly senior sister Li Hua also refused a lot love confessions." explained that person.
"I seemed to have heard about this too, I heard they used to be in the same department" another person said.
"But until the end of their graduation neither of said anything to each other and sister Hua left to pursue her studies in abroad."
"So that's what happened."
"Yes I heard it from my roommate, her older sister used to be in the same dorm room with senior Li Hua Although sister Hua didn't live in the dorm room very often so there was less contact but at that time almost everyone in the school knew about this."
"I see!" others exclaimed. Just then the bell rang and shortly after that the teacher entered the classroom so the students had to stop their discussions and focus on the class.

At the cafeteria-
"Did you hear all those discussions about the annual event and also about the seniors attending?" Xiao Zhen asked.
"Yes yes! They were discussing about the affair of senior sister Li Hua and senior brother Yichen too!." Yaoyao replied.
"Hey do you think those rumours are true?"Meimei asked skeptically.
"Who knows? Maybe it's true or maybe it's not." – Xiao Zhen.
"But it's indeed true that senior brother Yichen never had a girlfriend until the last days of school. Perhaps that is the real reason!" – Meimei.
"True! We used to wonder how a guy like senior Yichen can be remained single for so long. It's now makes sense!" – Yaoyao concluded.
"Perhaps both of them are now together who knows?" – Meimei.
"What do you think Yueyue? - Xiao Zhen.
"What is there to even think about? It is their personal affair, we shouldn't be gossiping about it." Yueyue said.
"Well you are right, all of these are just speculations and gossips, we don't know how much any of these are true." Yaoyao sighed.
"Yeah we should stop discussing about their private matters." Others agreed.
"But hey weren't they also saying that our Yueyue and senior Yichen would make a good pair?" teased Yaoyao.
"That's right that's right!" -exclaimed Meimei.
"They weren't wrong though, in my opinion our Yueyue and senior Yichen would look good together." Said Xiao Zhen and three of them looked at Mingyue. Seeing them looking at her with their teasing eyes Mingyue smiled and pouted – "Stop teasing me you three, those are just some nonsense."
"Okay okay we won't tease you anymore." – Xiao Zhen.
"Okay guys are you going to participate in any events for the annual functions?" – Meimei asked.
"I have not thought about it yet." – replied Xiao Zhen.
"What about you Yaoyao?" – Xiao Zhen.
"I also haven't thought anything." – Yaoyao.
"And Yueyue?" – Meimei.
"Same as you guys. Let's discuss it after we finish our classes today." –Mingyue said.
" Okay." Rest of them agreed.
