Chapter 17: The Dungeon of Karnosh City
Someone in my past world once said that human was the vermins of the world. As if to confirm that person's hatred toward humans, the gods, and goddess of that world discriminate against human by creating monsters with an atypical appearance and strength to hunt humans.
In that world, it wasn't like this current world. There was only one type of [enemy] for mankind. And that was Demons (beast, plants, spirits, etc). Not only were they faster, stronger, smarter, live longer, and can procreate better, they also have more endurance when it comes to patience and sadistic strikes.
Mankind's only protection was a City called Wall Gaian. And yet, within that city along, humans weren't kind toward mankind.
Internal fighting, conspiracy, hatred, vengeance, darkness...
So, it wasn't a surprise that Wall Gaian got destroyed even before I was sent to that world. There was only a limited amount of humans left by the time that I got to that world.
I recalled building a new city for them. Making lands for farming, teaching them how to fight against demons, and basically being the new founder of mankind, including teaching them morals and ethics. Within a period of 50 years, the population increase from 500 to 5,000. And then from then on, I had concentrated on increasing the strength of the populations to suppress the demons again.
100 years past by in that world and 70% of the people whom I mentor and train were all levels 70s and above. They had successfully taken back 20% of the lands that belong to the demons but was originally from the goddess.
200 years later, and finally, there was someone who could suppress the gods and goddess of that world. Preventing them from creating any more demons. And no, it wasn't me.
500 years later, I watch as my first disciple's grandson killed one of the 12 Demon Kings while marrying one of the other Demon King's daughter.
This action causes a lot of chaos from humans but once they truly met the daughter of that Demon King, they stopped arguing.
Why? Because that woman was a half-human half-demon from one of the rarest Demon Bloodline, the Vampires. Not only that, she happened to be the Silverblood Vampire's Princess, too.
This action brought the Werewolves and the Vampires to the humans' sides.
1,000 years after that, human, vampires, and werewolves had already inter-married for so long that the majority of them had either one or the other's bloodline in their veins.
And yet, in the year 1256, the continent that hosts the human, werewolves, and vampires were gone.
Why? Because I was asleep at that time and didn't notice that my Titled "Dungeon Creator" was still active. This caused dungeons to form in that continents like ants' hills.
When I woke up in the year 1255, there was no one else left in that continent anymore. Only Phantom Beasts, Monsters, and Aberrated Demons created within those Dungeons that formed while I was asleep were left on the continent.
I spent a full year closing down one dungeon after another. And by the times that every dungeon was closed and collapsed, the continent was already submerged within the sea. Why? Because closing those dungeons created instability within the continent's earth so seawater rushed in and slowly submerged it underneath.
After that, I left the continent and went to the Demon Continents.
It was then that I happen to gain the title "Continental Creator". As a result, I adopted all the demon orphans that I can and started living with them on the Demon Continent. What? No, I don't discriminate against Demon just because I am a human. Wait, am I still being count as a human being anymore? Whatever.
And yet, since I was slightly pissed off at my own mistake for sleeping without checking my "To Do List before Sleeping", I didn't do such a thing as making another kingdom again in that world.
Well, a city was formed but the population never reach higher than 10,000. Why? Because I don't want a damn kingdom to form again.
Why am I talking about this kind of information to you, the readers?
Well, to give you an idea of what would happen if I don't prepare the kids for the Dungeon that is now at 89% complete forming.
Even though I had Turned Off all the titles that will or could influence the Dungeon forming, my own presence itself was already affecting the acceleration of the dungeon.
Why? Because of my lucks.
Dungeons are just another 'excuses' the world created for me as resources and bribes. Basically, dungeons and mazes that weren't man-made were all created by the world to keep me from getting bored. When I am bored, dangerous things happen and that isn't good.
So, yes. Bribes. The World itself is Bribing me. Why?
Well... that might be my fault. Yes, it was my fault.
Remember when I said that I accidentally destroyed a couple of world/planets back then?
Well... the truth is that Cidetal wasn't actually the 27th worlds that I went to... It was actually the... 79th world that I went through and lives.
The reasons why I said that Cidetal was the 27th world was because the other ones don't exist anymore. So, yes, only 27 Worlds survived with me in it. So far... Ah- don't be mistaken, okay? The majority of those worlds that were destroyed was already in the process of being destroyed or dying when I got to those worlds. Most of those worlds didn't get physically destroyed by me. So, don't be mistaken! There was a couple of worlds which I spiritually and or physically did destroy but... Yeah- let's not mention those worlds. It caused my mood to sunk so badly just remembering it.
Counting the number of lives that I had 'killed off' and yes, you can see why such Titles like The Demon Gods and One Man Army are within the weakest Titles that I have.
Hahahahaha... How else would Cidetal get so scared of me? Cidetal is a rank B world, you know?
How else do you think that it was possible for me to go head to head with Tian Yuanle?
Because- fucking damn it, Tian Yuanle was still stronger than me, okay?!!!

I can say for sure that this man had destroyed more worlds than that I had traveled to!
The reason why I keep having headaches about the kids was because of this. If the Dungeon underground successfully formed and the kids aren't ready? Then yeah, they won't survive.
Unless, of course, I do something about the dungeon first. Which, I plan to do.
I need to investigates what kind of Dungeon this dungeon will be like.
If this world's Conscious was like all the previous world's Conscious, then I can already see what kind of Dungeon this Dungeon will be.
With my presence as the base, there are only 12 kinds of Dungeon that this dungeon might be formed to be.
Truth be told, all of the dungeons and mazes that I had created personally were rather MMORPG-ish. Why? Because I grow up in the Western rather than the Eastern cultural influences.
In the times that I had been born in, Virtual Reality Gaming was already a big part of the lifestyle of everyone. Ranging from all kind of genres and subgenres, many games had already come out. From dating-sims to survival to horror and mysterious. All kind of genres.
Right before I first had my World-Hopping/transmigrant to another world, the game Sacred Limitation came out. It was a First-Person Shooter VRMMO games with slight influences of RPG and realism.
The realism was... real. You can feel pain, hunger, satisfaction from eating and getting stronger from playing it. And yes, dying in the game was a bitch and a half in real life. Most games would put a restriction of 3 Days Log-In restriction to players if they died but for Sacred Limitation, it was a full 7 Days Restriction. Why? Because of mental health and psychological influences.
Why 7 days? Because, unlike before when VRG wasn't so realistic, dying doesn't cause much health tissues, be it mental or physical. However, ever since VRG got to the realism of above 50%, dying was far too real and it cost shadows of all kind of psychological issues on the mind. Which was why the 7 Days restriction came in. So, yes, in Sacred Limitation, PVP was locked behind a lot of quests and restriction.
The first 3 days of the restriction was spent resting the mind and body from having experienced what dead is like while the rest of the 4 days was for going to a psychologist and a physical therapist.
However, like every VRG out there, there was nothing special about it, asides from the Intelligence A.I programs and the world building within the timeline of the games. I had only played it for 3 months before I graduated from my college and was in the process of moving to England when I got kicked/pull/push into my first World.
So, unknowingly, my first Dungeon as a Dungeon Creator was a softer version of the Horde-Spawn Mode Battling kind of dungeon. Then, from that dungeon onward, it changes between the 12 variety of Dungeon: The Labyrinthine Environment Dungeon, Horde-Spawn Mode Battling Dungeon, Loot-and Create Dungeon, Story Driven-Event Dungeon, Mysterious Dungeon, Crafting Dungeon, Invasion Vs. Defense Dungeon, Roguelike Dungeon, Game Base Dungeon, Instance Mazes, Wizard and Magic Dungeon, and Battle Restricted Dungeon. With rankings from F to SSSSS in terms of difficulty, you can say that my Dungeons was never boring.
The Dungeon that was currently forming underneath Karnosh City was going to be a Rank D Dungeon of the Invasion Vs. Defense kind.
Meaning that groups of varieties of monsters will come out from places that are dark and kills every other being on the surface. Be it humans, Demi-human, elves, monsters, beast, or otherwise. As long as they do not belong to the dungeon, then they will be the killing targets of anything that crawled out from the dungeon.
Within the Rank D Dungeon, there are 'Mobs' that are able to use magic. This case was especially true for the dungeon underneath Karnosh City.
Nonetheless, this dungeon has both an advantage side and a disadvantage side to it.
Advantage side was that all of the 'mobs' coming out from the dungeon are very useful for the beings on the surface.
Disadvantage side was that they are endless hordes coming. They won't stop coming until the sunrise the next morning. Once the sunset in the evening, they will crawl out from the dungeon. Once the sun rises in the morning, they will simply vanish back into the dungeon.
Each time that the 'mobs' came out from the dungeon and kill someone, be it human or beasts, they will only get stronger, faster, gain more ability and the likes. So, they must be killed on the first time that they come out.
Even though for a ranked D dungeon, it was pretty lacking. But for the people of this world, this was pretty much the same as a Mana Pool. Only less intense since no 'mobs' came out during the day, unlike the Mana Pool situation where monsters and beasts from all kind of sizes could come all day all night.
To make sure that the kids knew what was coming, I had even out up a Combat Formation within the Dojo, where the small horde size of wooden puppets come alive. The wooden puppets are slightly different from the bamboo puppet, as they are being controlled by me. I made the kids go through this daily.
It was to the point that most of them are living here already.
Since my house was pretty big, I really don't care if they stay here too. And yes, they are still working for me.
It's just that they are used to the works that they do, so now they got it done pretty fast. Not only that, they are getting stronger and faster due to the training that I made and the food that I cooked for them, so they didn't take long now.
Sometimes Prince Yui would also play with them by controlling the wooden puppets or changing the format of the Combat Formation, too. This sometimes causes the kids to get hurts but since I have a lot of healing potions, so their lives aren't in danger.
Still, they knew that the healing potion cost a lot so they tried to best to not get injured often. The kids are pretty sensitive in this regard. Unlike a certain prince.
Anyway, Prince Yui asked me why and what I was training the kids for so I told him about the dungeon that's forming right now underground.
"Shinichi, there's also an underground Maze underneath the capital city, too." He dropped the bomb without a care.
"...." Oi, why are you telling me that? Shouldn't that be kept a secret from your end? Well, I will find out anyway if I went to the capital but I didn't yet. So why are you telling me this kind of National Secret for?!
Oi, don't tell me that you have no intention to go back home?!

"... Sigh. What kind of maze was it?" I asked, trying and failing to stop my curiosity.
"A Labyrinth Maze of 200 Level from the 4 Primal Elemental.
"Oh? A magic Maze? What's the highest level of mobs in there?"
"A level 200 Gold Dragon that's 2,000 years old."
"Only level 200?" What a disappointment.
Prince Yui chuckled, "Shinichi, that dragon was only a kid. He's not the demon king, okay?" He kissed me on my cheeks as he chuckled.
Oi, stop kissing me already! There are kids here! Although none of the kids dear to looks at us. They have already known by heart by now that Prince Yui was a demon in sheep clothes.
When Prince Yui said that the dungeon originates from the 4 primal elementals, he meant: Wood, Water, Earth, and Fire.
Those are the 4 Primal Elemental.
Things like water slime, fire imp, earth golem, and treants. Those monsters or in this case, mobs, are from the 4 primal elementals. Of course, this was just an ordinally example.
If the monster evolves, then it would be different. For example, slime can change their core essence from a water slime to a sticky slime or a poison slime depended on the slime's route of evolutionary.
And in Prince Yui and my opinion, the Gold Dragon was an Evolved Dragon from the Earth Dragon bloodline.
I remember one of my Master from a previous world said, "To Evolve, One must Evolve Themselves". That master was a Sage who specialist in Beast Magic, so his words are true to their essence.
Especially Dragon Beast Magic since that man had this weird obsession with dragon and lizard.
So, I am entitled to be able to call one of the strongest dragons a baby. Especially if I myself have thousands of dragons that had already live to their million years old. So, there's nothing wrong with me calling that dragon a baby... Beside, Yui had probably planted that dragon there...
Ah, that's right. In this world of Cidetal, the Magic Elements of this world was: Earth, Water, Wind, Fire, Light, Darkness, Time, Space, Summoner, Alchemist, Investigator, Ancient, and Null.
Although, in the past 10,000 years, only the 4 Primal Elements and the 3 Sides(Summoner, Alchemist, and Light) magic are left.
In this world, magic spells are all evoked through a magic circle. So, spells are all activated thought absorbing magical energy via magic circles and incantations. Well, all except for Ancient Magic, which was thru comprehension and control. Well, this is in the case of the people of this world. For me, voiceless incarnation or just thought about it was fine since my control over my own power isn't weak. Not to mention my magic manipulation skills was also maxed out too.
Ancient magician were those that are able to use magic to craft things- literally with no materials before-hand. So, the magical crafter now-a-day are all half-baked since the majority of the Ancient Magic's knowledge was lost during the war a couple of million years ago.
Even as half-bakes crafters, their creations are still widely sought after.
In this city, Karnosh City, there was only one Magical Craft Shop. And it belongs to Prince Yui. With his connection toward the Lord of this city, this shop was the most influence shop in the whole city. It located in the middle of the shopping plaza with a large and magnificent seven-story building.
I might not know everything about this world yet, but I do know that Prince Yui was not just a Prince.
According to information, the dungeon below the capital city was discovered by Prince Yui 15 years ago when he was only 10 years old. Since then, the capital city has been flourishing like a fountain of gold was found in his house. In a way, that dungeon was a gold mine- only it was far easier to use and replenish once it ran out.
As I said, this man had come here into this world far Earlier than me so I don't have a clue as to what he was doing in this world before he was born as the Prince of this Kingdom. Actually, I really don't want to know what he was doing. And I can't read what he was doing anyway since he blocked my Sight from seeing it.
Anyway, the reason why Prince Yui told me about the dungeon underneath the capital was properly that he wanted me to go to the capital with him but I refused. If I leave now, no one will be able to train the kids. And, then with the absence of my presence, the dungeon down, here, will go berserk. And that will really be a tragedy waiting to happen.
Moving on, Prince Yui will have to leave in a couple of days so he was really... sticky toward me.
He won't let me sleep peacefully, either.
He has his own room to sleep in but he would always sneak into my room. So, seeing no point in stopping him, I just let him sleep with me.
Even though we aren't even going out.
Oh well. I'm also a man too so if he wanted to take advantage of me, I would also take advantage of him and 'drink' him dry.
What? I'm still a man even if I am gay, okay?!

This was especially true for Prince Yui. That man didn't leave me along for even a couple of minute!
Just because he's leaving in a couple of days that he was this insatiate! I have to make sure that my house can withstand our lovemaking by reinforcing everything with magic and my own blood- just a drop.
Anyway, because of Prince Yui, I was so damn satisfied that my work pace increase, causing all the kids to look at me like I'm a monster if I weren't one already in their eyes.

The store, my new store, which was called "Shirin's Food and Drink Stall, was very popular to even the noble.
No, this was especially to the nobles.
Since there was a limited amount of food that the stall can serve per day, the earning was also limited.
Let's see, each day, there was about 3,000 customers per day minimum but the foods that I prepared per day was only 5,000 in quantity. Yet, the majority of the customers bought at least two to three different kinds each time that they buy from here, so I made around 3 to 4 Small Gold Coin each day. In the new currency right now, that's about 100,000-150,000 Suit⊮ per day.
More than a noble's store per week. Well, of course, this doesn't count Yui's Ancient Magic store. His store catered to the riches of the rich within this while kingdom so that doesn't count.
This earning increase my Commerce Ranking from a C-Rank to a B-Rank Merchant easily.

So, 1 Large Silver is the equivalent of $0.01. And, Small Gold coin is $0.10 Credit. Large Gold Coin is $1 Credit. Platinum Coin is $10 Credits each. And Magic Shard or Coin are 100 Credits.
Change those into standardized money used on Earth, and their worths are multiplied by 10 times of exchange ratios. Which mean that each copper coin is worth about $10.00 USD. The rest? Do the math, yourself.[A/N: please let me know if I did the math wrong]
These were the old currency in this Kingdom.
The new Currency that had taken full effect a couple of weeks ago isn't the same as the old currency. The currency's looks and shapes are all different.

So, One Piece for One Coin/Suit (⊮). Suit is pronounced as [Sweet] only with a Z or Tsu like Sweetsu.

Normally, if you earned 100-200 Suit⊮ per day, then you are already set and secure for a week- if you know how to save. After all, with the new currency system in place, a lot of goods are cheaper in a sense since the new Suit⊮ currency system has more worth compared to the previous system.
So, me, who was earning at least 100,000 Suit⊮ to 150,000 Suit⊮ per day was a rich bastard already.
Although, not as much if I sell the fishes by themselves and not as fast. This was still far more than most of the noble's store's earn in a month.
Anyway, for now, these schedules work for me and its pace was fast enough that it didn't bore me to death, so I am okay with it.
On Dahlia Day, I prepared the materials and organized the paperwork while training the kids. On Lilies Day, I cooked and made the foods and store them into the spatial containers that can be transferred into the both these two stores here in Karnosh and the one in Froze Frost Fortress. On this day, the kids will go back to the orphans and do their things there. Tulips Day was the first day of the week that the Stall was opened so it will be very busy. Ah, you don't have to worry since I am the one that transferred all the foods and set up the store every time, so the kids are safe even if there are thief targeting them.
Orchid Day's are divided between Training the kids and the stalls.
Gazania Day are me mostly focusing on training the kids. On that day, the kids will rotate theirs shifted between the two stores and the training dojo. On Rosa Day, it is for Combat Training- both Martial Arts and Magic. Finally, on Lotus Day, I put out a Tournament every other week. The strongest will get to eat more foods and dessert while the weakest will have to wash the clothes from everyone.
Hm? What? Do you think that this schedule was really carefree?
You are dead wrong. For me, this is very carefree, I admitted.
However, for the kids, this was a Hell-Level Training.
At any rate, I make sure that the kids all have at least 6 hours of sleeping per night and a short nap of 1 hour per day. I also make sure that their foods have enough nutrition for their growing bodies.
The way that I pay attention to the kids caused Prince Yui to be slightly jealous but he knew what I was doing so he didn't stop me. Only, he got a tidbit more 'sticky' and possessive.
This schedule was kept until the day that Prince Yui had to go home.

"... Shinichi... Come with me?" Prince Yui was sulking and looking very gloomy as he asked that question.
"No," I didn't hesitate to say no, either. We both knew that my answer was going to be the same but he wanted to ask anyway.
"... Fine. But I will be back!" Oi, you are a Prince! You aren't kidding anymore so stop looking like I killed your puppy!
We are currently outside the Karnosh City Gate with the Lord of this City behind us. Although, the Lord was trying his best to make his presence disappeared and failing miserably at it.
Lord Flavius was only a Viscount so he was very nervous when he interacts with Prince Yui. The Lord Flavius who one hit killed a Rank A beast just a couple of days ago was now shivering in fear with a look that says he's going to piss his pants. Really.... where's that cool guy from before gone to?
Prince Yui wasn't normally this childish so this behavior cause Lord Flavius to be very nervous.
Why? Because this Lord wasn't very strong in Spirit and Will. So, being in Prince Yui's presence caused his whole body to trembled in fear. To mention my presence was not any less commanding.
So, Prince Yui's natural personality of being colder than Ice to Lord Flavius was like meeting the Demon Lord with Lord Flavius being a small animal.
Afraid to breathe, afraid to look, afraid to even twitch.
I remembered the first time that I meet this man.
I experienced something similar to this too. Except, my Will and Spirit was so high that it lasted for only a nano-of-a second. Maybe that was the initiator that caused Tian Yuanle to be interested in me. Well, asides from the fact that I was his type.
So, I completely understand why he feared Prince Yui but...

I dimmed out my natural innate aura already right?! Why are you still shaking when talking to me, Lord Flavius?!
Ah, by the way, I and Prince Yui had told Lord Flavius about the Dungeon that's forming down below Karnosh City too.
To my wonder, the City Lord had already known about it due to his daughter's skill of sensing dungeon.
Of course, he didn't know when the dungeon will be finishing forming but he had already gone and sent a letter to the Emperor about the Dungeon coming alive soon. He estimates that it would be about 2 more years until it finished forming...
Yeah, it seems like I have to do something to slow down the formation of the dungeon.

Preying his lips opened, I push my tongue inside his mouth and send a jerk of electric power onto his tongue, causing his tears to stopped and his breathing to collapsed as electric shock shocked thru his tongue right into his brain.
Before Prince Yui could lock his lips onto me and overpower me, I stopped the kiss and knocked him out cold within less than a split nano of a second.
His only going to be knocked out for 5 minutes due to the restriction of my strength but it was more than enough for the knight's to leave with Prince Yui.
What? Why are the knights all looking so surprised?
"What are you guys doing?! Hurry up and take the Yui with you and returned to the Capital before he wakes up!"
""Yes, Sir!"" They all snap to attention.
Oi, why are you knights looking like you just met the Demon God?! I didn't do anything to you guys yet! Did I forget to turn off one of my titles? No! I turned every other Title off already, leaving on only Chef of the World title on.
Well, whatever.
The knights left with Prince Yui in a carriage. The horses pulling the carriage was a horse similar to July and his brother but was different varies called the Dark Starling Horse. Its speeds were faster and more fierce comparing to the Jule Horse.
So, within a minute, their presence has already left my area of sense already. That's about 90 miles away.
Hmph, I hope that Prince Yui won't wake up any time soon!

A certain someone with long blond hair and dark blue eyes, going by the name of Yui Lexial Bahamut opened his eyes. There was no warmed within the eyes at all. The coldness within it could even cause ice to freeze all over again.
All of the knights kneel down on their knees as their heads bend into their chest.
There was no sound at all from the knights, making the scene look very ominous.
Suddenly, a small smile grace prince Yui's face.
"Hahaha, Shinichi- oh- Shinichi, why are you always so unpredictable? So adorable. Fine, I will go back but don't expect me to stay away for long." The man said as his whole body emitted out a dark presence, causing the knights to shivers in fear.
The prince looked back to the direction that Karnosh City was at with a look that brings gloominess into his eyes before he reluctantly looks away. He licked his lips as his eyes turned golden purple for a split second.
It was only for a split second and yet, the whole world trembled.
Far away, inside Karnosh City, Shinichi pause as he turned toward the direction of that aura.
"Stop acting like a kid! You will come back soon, anyway!" He coldly said as he continues to do whatever it was that he was doing.
Back at Prince Yui, he smiles slightly. "Got it, Shin-chan," He whispered to himself with a longing smile on his face. His whole very being feels reluctant to leave but he forces himself to go. Within less than 2 seconds, they were gone. Completely vanished.
