Chapter 43 - Class

With another week passing Sagar was going to start his first day of classes here at the academy. For his first day he only had two classes he had to worry about which were just a history class along with a geography class. Each day he was going to have a different class with him having some classes two times a week. From talking with both Talia and Umbra he found out that they shared some of the same classes together.

For example Talia was taking the same history class as Sagar so he would be seeing her today, while Umbra was a bit interesting with the classes they were both taking. Umbra was actually taking the only classes that Sagar was interested in which were both the 'Weapon Mastery I' class and the 'Unique and Specialized Magic' class. Both of these classes Sagar only had once a week so that's when he would be seeing Umbra.

Of course Sagar could see them outside of class but that was dependent on what each individual was doing at specific times. They could all be doing something which would not allow them to meet up to hang out. To help with keeping in contact with each other Umbra handed both Talia and Sagar a sort of grey colored crystal.

Whenever it was handed to them Talia had a shocked look upon her face signifying that she knew what this crystal was but Sagar had no idea of what it was. Umbra then explained that this grey crystal is actually something that's been in a work in progress among those who manufacture crystals. It's not really accessible to the public and for anyone trying to get their hands on one have to pay a hefty price. This crystal acts as a communication device with whatever crystal it's connected with, which in this case was the ones that Umbra had handed over to Talia and him. The crystals themselves are mainly being used by the military of the Empire but Umbra managed to get some from someone she has connections to.

It seems that all the holder of the crystal had to do was inject some of their energy within it and the crystal would then contact the other crystal or in this case crystals it was connected to. Right now they didn't really allow any sort of verbal contact so the military developed their own sort of Morse Code for communicating. The trio wasn't going to use that sort of system, instead they just had two commands they would use, which would to be to meet up and whether or not you could make it or were busy. They settled on the location they would meet up at which would be the dining hall as it was located towards the center of the academy and they all knew where it was located.

Anyway Sagar placed this crystal within his bag that he was bringing to his class along with some other supplies that he planned to use for the actual class. After Sagar finished out filling out the form for his classes and received his schedule it included all the basic necessities that you would need for each class, along with where the class was going to be held.

Sagar's history class was located in a cylindrical building, close to where the dining hall was actually, called 'Resilience'. Sagar had no idea why this building was called as such but it wasn't the only building who had this sort of name, for example the dining hall was called 'Unyielding' of all things. Sagar thought maybe that they used these sort of adjectives to try and pump up the students but he wasn't sure if it really did anything.

Walking into the building Sagar made his way to the second floor of the building as that was where the history class was located. The layout of the rooms for the building was like it's design cylindrical, with it's rooms either congregating around the center of the building or located on the edges of the building, with the hallways in between. Sagar's geography class was located in this building as well but it was on the third floor rather than the second.

Even though it was still early for any classes the hallways of the the building was still teeming with people trying to get to their classes. Sagar had to wait behind some as he was walking as they were walking at a slower pace than himself and there was no room to get around them.

Making his way to the room Sagar walked through the door and was saw that there weren't too many people here yet. He saw Talia sitting somewhere in the middle of the class fiddling with her fingers it seemed. As he was walking towards her he felt someone's gaze land upon him and hit didn't take long to figure out who that was exactly.

Sitting towards the left side of Sagar was Klaus which for both of the boys was the first time they saw each other since their match two weeks ago. Sagar thought it was weird that he hadn't seen Klaus as he managed to see some familiar faces from the test on his second day here. He would ask Klaus about it but Sagar felt that he wasn't the easiest fellow to talk to. Sagar thought that Klaus more than anything would bring up the topic of having another fight which Sagar wasn't exactly prone to. Not because he disliked fighting or anything but more about the fact that a fight between the two of them was more of an endurance test. Both of them hold back their maximum output for power as it was just a match and not a fight to the death.

There is a chance that Klaus wouldn't bring up a match but Sagar wasn't going to risk such a thing at this moment and just wanted to get through his day peacefully. Pulling out his seat next to Talia, which startled her a bit but she let out a smile after seeing that it was just Sagar. The two of them talked for a while only stopping when the teacher walked into the classroom to begin their lesson.
