Traveling for a few hours Sagar called out to the coach to stop the carriage as he had to go to the bathroom. Of course he didn't really need to go he was just planning to go retrieve his demons while also looking at their new forms. The coach would have told the boy to be careful but he knew that that would be a waste of breath as the boy along with the girl inside the carriage were both stronger than him.
The coach didn't really understand why the family is letting these two travel pretty much on their own without any real protection. Even though the road he's using is known for it's safety and that the kids were of relative strength it just didn't make sense, but what does he know he's just a coach along with the fact that he's being paid fairly well for doing this as well.
Sagar walked a good distance in the nearby woodwork and also looked for some kind of clearing so his demons have some room for themselves. He felt them nearby so it wouldn't take even a minute for them to show up.
Sure enough Sagar heard rapid stomps approaching him. The aura he felt was one he usually associated with Pyro Jack so he was wondering what he evolved into. Coming into the clearing was a fully armored warrior in dark armor with a glow flowing from within the armor appearing to be eyes. The warrior's weapon to be a golden trident as well which he would use upon his mount a large red horse with a dark mane and tail.
Seeing Pyro Jack's new appearance Sagar knew he had evolved into the demon Berith. Sagar wasn't sure what decided what the demon would evolve to but he thought it would have to be based on the demon's skills that they developed. Pyro Jack was pretty adept at handling fire magic along with learning some physical skills from himself helped transform into Berith.
Feeling that Badb Catha's aura was coming closer he started hearing some kind of stringed instrument being played. Soon appeared a tan skinned woman with a lute in her hands gently strumming the strings. She was wearing some kind of green leotard type outfit with gold, black, and white covering different parts of it in a sort of stripe format. Upon her head she was wearing a gold crown adorned with some decorations with a halo shaped part of the crown peeking out from the back.. Besides that she also had some sort of cloth that seemed otherworldly as it as constantly flowing around her in a manner that made the cloth look like it was alive.
What Badb Catha evolved into was the demon Sarasvati, for how Badb Catha even evolved into her Sagar wasn't entirely sure. He couldn't see any correlation between the two besides maybe wind magic which what Badb Catha was good at using.
Either way Sagar was glad with the outcome of their evolution. This was not only from new power which was on par with Expert level fighters individually now but it also was because with Berith looking like a relatively normal person instead of a floating jack-o-lantern and Badb Catha evolving into a more inconspicuous form Sagar wouldn't have to worry as much form people seeing them.
Sagar felt that he spent a bit too much time out here so he put both Berith and Sarasvati into kuda tubes then making his way back to the carriage.
When getting to Skoll Academy later that day they came to a town that was right outside what would be considered the outskirts of the academy. This town was actually something the academy set up as a place for students to either get different resources or trade for different resources. The town itself wasn't too much bigger than Mountain Village so it was of a good size. The buildings here weren't too grand just something you would see in some normal towns but with a few exceptions. The only buildings that stuck out were stores of differing variety as there were inns, restaurants, shops, etc.
The town didn't really have a name so people just called it Skoll after the academy. After all they were pretty much one and the same just that one was easier to access than the other.
From the town you could see the academy's walls that surrounded it and while they weren't as big as the one's in Verreaux they did their job well. According to some books that Sagar read about the academy there was a time when they would suffer attacks from beasts or other dangerous enemies but these walls were always there to help block them off.
The book said that the founder of the academy formed these walls with very powerful earth magic that also has some kind of regeneration spell on in as well. The thing that made this walls almost impenetrable was the fact that whenever you did manage to actually damage it it would restore itself in time, so if you weren't constantly bombarding it with something the damage would be restored eventually.
That's about all that Sagar read about it but he wasn't sure if they had something running the actual wall or if it was automatic. If it was automatic then how does it run? Does it just gather energy from the surroundings or does it have something else it gets energy from? Well he could probably find out if he gets acquainted with some higher ups but Sagar wasn't too sure of that happening.
Anyway the coach to them to somewhat expensive inn for them to stay at as it was already evening when they arrived. The tests for entering the academy actually last a couple days but both Talia and him were going to go tomorrow when the tests start so that they could enter right away.
After eating a dinner provided by the inn Sagar went to his room to train a little and then go to sleep early in preparation for tomorrow.
