Gold dreaming...
She turned to embrace Cale and almost fell out of bed. Waking her up in surprise. (Weird! I was dreaming) she tapped her forehead.
Suddenly the doorbell rang. She glanced to check her phone and saw that Cale was still on the video call but.. (Is he outside my house??? He didn't say what happened earlier right?) She cut the video call right away and ran to the door. "I bought us breakfast," Cale said while showing it to her. He closed the door and went straight to the dining area.
(He is acting so weird. Is he alright? Oh no... It's Monday. I need to get ready for work soon) Gold thought. Forgetting that they work at the same company. "I'm taking you to work today, tomorrow, every day. I don't want you driving on your own or taking a cab from now on. Even Kilk is not allowed to pick you up." he said without hesitation. (Is he applying as my personal driver? Oh. My very own service.) She stares at him with a funny look on her face and almost laughs at her own thoughts.
Cale prepared the breakfast. While Gold is watching him quietly. He pulled the chair and glanced at Gold. She immediately understood and sat there. Cale sat beside her. (Sausage, bacon, and eggs. My favorite breakfast set. He still remembers.)
Cale immediately offered her a bite of his food. "Try this one. It's really good." Gold just takes it without hesitation. (It is! I want his breakfast!) she thought to herself. He is having spinach, bacon feta egg baked. Cale watches her face as she hides her reaction. "You want my breakfast? Don't you?" She glanced at him with her lips tightened together. He gave it to her and pulled her food closer. We can share. Gold smiled brightly while taking a big bite.
After breakfast Gold rushes upstairs to take a shower and get ready. Cale was left downstairs cleaning up. He went to his car afterward to get the flowers he bought earlier. Gold ran outside completely dressed and prepared. She found Cale in front of his car carrying a bouquet of flowers. (What in the..) He gave her the flowers and opened the car door for her.
Gold stared at him for a long while. (Snap out it!) she said to herself. She weirdly enters the car while giving Cale a sideways stare. She grabbed the door immediately before he could close it. Cale just laughed at her weirdness.
Everyone staring at them and you can hear them whispering at each other. It's hard not to tell that everyone's talking about them. (going to work together is a big mistake! especially holding a bouquet early in the morning!!!) Gold screamed to herself. "It's been a while Gold!" she almost dropped the bouquet in surprise. "Hi, Jake, Good morning. How's your weekend," she said trying to sound cool. "No, the question is how is your weekend?" he laughs and salutes Cale before leaving.
Cale accompanies her straight to her office door. "I'll see you at lunchtime," he said before leaving her without waiting for her response. (Lunch? Did I say yes? He just left after saying that!) She sat in her chair vexed but she smiled after seeing the flowers.
Lunchtime
Min knocking at the door. "Ms. Gold, may I come in?"
"Go ahead, Min." She entered the room and forwarded a small card to her. "I'll be outside the building waiting for you inside the car. " she almost forgot they were having lunch together. She grabbed her bag and rushed to meet him.
"I'm taking you to Dampa today" A place wherein you can choose and buy fresh seafood from the market and ask them to cook it for you. "That is very nice! I'm eating crab, shrimp, and baked mussels."
Cale could tell the excitement as he watched her fantasize about the food. "I love you," he whispered then drove away. Gold heard it clearly but pretended she didn't hear it at all. She just kept babbling about the seafood she wanted from the market. Even though the truth is... it made her heart jump. She glanced at Cale for a while and started humming a song to calm her heart and wandered her eyes. Suddenly she noticed that someone was calling Cale's mobile phone but it was on a silent mode that he didn't notice. The number seemed to be from another country. "someone's calling your phone."
Cale glances at his phone but it's too late for him to answer. "I'll check it later."
