General Troy Coffer slid through the battlefield using his mobility spell, Frost Rush. The spear he held using his right hand glowed with a faint blue light and was leaving snowflakes in its wake.
From now on, the flow of the battle would no longer be directed by him. The initiative for the battle had long been lost, and in the chaos, his commands became futile. His voice couldn't even be heard. At times like this, it would be up to the soldiers to execute the emergency formation.
Regroup then counter-attack!
Coffer knew that his men could do it. They had practiced this routine more than a hundred times already. What he needed to do right now was to assist those who are struggling.
Everywhere he looked, it was utter chaos. Spells were flying everywhere, even towards him. Sometimes he would block with his spear; sometimes he would dodge.
