"Hey, wife?" Haruka mumbled.
"Yes?"
"I was thinking that I wanted to kiss you. Can we?"
Lila felt her cheeks grow hot at his words. She felt stupid like she usually did whenever Haruka asked her for anything. Back when they first started dating, Lila strictly told him to ask before he did anything to her. But now that he does it, she doesn't know how to react.
'She can't let him see.' Unfortunately, it was too late.
"Hey, why are you turning red?"
"I'm not!" Her voice ended up a bit louder than she thought.
Haruka blinked, "You don't have to get snappy.."
"Sorry," she mumbled. "I'm not embarrassed. I'm just…" What is she doing now? To her surprise, Haruka reached over and interlaced their hands together.
