Isaac and Skye travel back towards the village side by side laughing and sharing stories of their day.
"I can't believe you hit Elder Zachary with an arrow during Target Practice!" Skye blurted out after the young elf had shyly whispered in her ear. Skye was having trouble controlling her laughter as Isaac true redder then the ruby apple they had just shared.
"It wasn't my fault!" Isaac shouted defensively, crossing his arms with a great huff. "The old man got in my way," Isaac said gruffly.
Skye looked over at her best and some would say her only friend. Isaac was a strong and handsome young elf only 22 years old. He was smart and a gifted healer and fighter, many believed him perfect except his one major flaw. He was a horrible shot with a bow, it was quite funny actually. Isaac couldn't hit the broad side of a thousand-year-old oak. He still had time to learn since he was still considered a boy in their culture. She thought that it was funny that she said "their" culture even though she never felt that she was a part of it. Skye was the complete opposite of Isaac she was a perfect shot but other than archery, fighting, and her militaristic abilities she sucked at much else. She was always a mess always daydreaming, she never paid any attention to her studies. Skye found them to be dull and useless. She already knew everything they were trying to teach her in class so Skye didn't see a point to paying attention. Skye was always an outsider even though her father was the King and she was technically a Princess she always just thought of herself as an archer nothing more.
Skye shook her head and got back to reality. "Hey, Isaac I have to stop by my house to get ready before seeing my father and so do you so meet me at my place when you're done getting ready," Skye said with a fake half smile as the got closer to the village.
"Will do," Isaac said with a smile as he headed towards his cottage which was three down from hers.
