Vlad was not happy when he heard that the people in that world called the Players as God. He was rather disappointed at the mere thought of it, not to mention that he was really disgusted at how these so called Gods behave.
After all, they were not gods but some fucked up human who enjoyed the pleasure and thrill of adventure in the game.
If he were to be brutally honest, then he too were one of those people. Although he did enjoy playing the game, the main point why he played that game was because of money.
And almost half of the majority who played the game were playing because of money. The game had another feature where the player could sell account, items, info and many more. They made a website just like that of an online auction where the player earn money from it.
So when he heard that the players were called as god. He was really not appalled and happy. For someone who has experienced the hard life in earth, Vlad could say that he was not worthy to be called as god.
At this moment, he didn't care about anything else except the word God. He was someone who has experienced the might of an almighty being, after all he was now in another world after dying.
That was proof enough of the existence called God. But to call himself and the other human in his world as God is ridiculous!
He won't accept it! Those pretentious human were not different from they are. Just because this world is once a game doesn't mean that they live their life as nothing but an inhumane NPC!
They are now have feeling of their own. They have blood and flesh no different than he is! They eat food the same thing as he do.
But as he was lost in thought, Tiriel was calling at him several times already. But she was ignored completely by Vlad as he was still fuming at the revelation he just heard.
'God? How stupid! For all my life, I have not even once met a God. Although I have doubts once, but I was sure now that God exists.'
Vlad closed his eyes as he thought about the being that is out of common sense.
After a moment of silent and thinking. Vlad then opened his eyes, what greeted his eyes were that of a pouting woman with a fed up expression on her face.
Smiling bitterly, Vlad then opened his mouth, "Tiriel, I need you to tell me about this world from your perspective. I need to confirm something and make sure that I really understand what really happened."
Frowning with confusion now present on her face, Tiriel then nodded her head.
"Master, do you want me to talk now or should we talk about it while we continue our walk?"
She asked with a tilt of her head, her eyes were bright albeit with confusion present in the depth of it.
'I don't know what he is thinking, and he has behaving strangely even when we first met. It was as if he was seeing me for the first time... like it was as if he went into a deep slumber and just woke up all confused.' She thought while she wait for Vlad's reply.
"Hmm, I was planning to run at full speed to this Galion Mountain. We talk in there then."
"As you wish."
With that Vlad then walked behind Tiriel and then carried her in a princess carry. His actions earned him a cute sound from Tiriel with a blushing face.
"Kya~"
Suffice to say that Vlad was surprised and then he hurriedly looked down at her face. But he was disappointed that when he looked at her, her face were normal and composed. It was as if nothing happened and keep her cool.
He smiled wryly at that and then shake his head in exasperation. Thinking that he has wasted enough time, Vlad then dashed toward Galion Mountain with his fastest speed.
Although he was carrying someone, Vlad could not even feel any burden or weight at all, with his speed akin to that of lightning itself, he was avoiding the tree and roots as he dashed trough them like theres no obstacle at all.
As for Tiriel, she was leaning herself to Vlad's chest as her hands were circling onto his neck, hugging him tightly. Her face had a fair seen of blush on it as she stared at the serious expression of Vlad with a dazed look.
'Ah master seeing your serious face so close like this make me remember the time when we still hunted together with the others. I still cant forgive you for abandoning us back then, but I really cant stay angry at you. Ah ah ah-- how troublesome this feeling of mine.'
A warm smile soon appeared on her alluring lips, her eyes were narrowed into a warm one as she looked at Vlad lovingly.
As for Vlad he was oblivious to all of this as his attention were focused solely to getting used to the huge influx of information barging into his brain. He was processing all of the blurring image he just passed as he dashed forward with a speed comparable to light itself.
In Tear of Hell, there is a total of seven main class and many sub-class and many hidden class. The seven main class were [Knight] [Magician] [Paladin] [Assassin] [Blacksmith] [Magic Swordsman] [Rider].
Out of those sevens, Vlad chose [Rider] as his main class. As for why he chose that particular class, it was because that class is rather unusual and unique to all of the other one. In Tear of Hell, there is something called Automaton that only player could use, and this Automaton is what the [Rider] used to fight in the game.
Its similar to that of riding a robot and fight with it. Although the size is not big like some kind of certain Gdamn animation, the size of this Automaton is no more than 10 meters in height. In the game, player could get out of their Automaton and fight using their character too, but this act is not highly recommended, because their character is just so weak that it could be killed with one slash from a [knight].
But one could strengthen their character using sub-class or even hidden class. If one is lucky, they could even obtain a hidden class where the skill is quite overpowered. So this [Rider] class is rather popular in Tear of Hell, because it could rider an oversized armor that is rather powerful and they could even learns a sub class to negate the weakness of this class.
And only the [Rider] class could use an Automaton, so without this [Rider] class as their main jobs, no one can ride an Automaton.
But of course, this class is not unbeatable either. Because if you choose this particular class, you need to dedicate your time to collect spare parts and do quest to upgrade the Automaton. Meaning, if the Automaton has junk as the main component to upgrade their Automaton, then even an [Assassin] could destroy it in the blink of an eye.
As such even though it was popular, there are not many player that continued to play this particular class for long. In the end, they all relied on the other six main class and used the sub and hidden class to progress their character.
Only the one truly dedicated one that could be called as pro [Rider] class player could be in the top 5 of this particular class. And Vlad is one of them, he dedicated his time to gather and buy the spare parts to build his Automaton into the most powerful and most fearsome one back in the game.
Although he did in fact almost gave up halfway and start over, he preserved and finally becoming the so called [Overlord].
