Chapter 93 - Made for each other

After they separated, Ha Eun looked down, she didn't know how to look at him after that kiss. They hadn't kissed in so long she had forgotten how wonderful it felt like.

Chang Wook on the other hand was trying his hardest not to take her where they stood. He remembers the last time they tried; they were interrupted by none other than his father-in-law. As he stared at her lips, he wanted so badly to kiss her again. Her lips were so soft, and her smell was intoxicating. It had been so long since he last held her, and he had forgotten how wonderful it felt. He thankfully managed to hold himself back as he left his hands on her cheeks. He couldn't believe she was finally here.

"I missed you," Chang Wook said as he smiled down at her. Ha Eun looked down as she continued to feel embarrassed. She had no idea what to say to her husband who she secretly transported to Jeju and left him there to deal with his rehabilitation all on his own. Even if his family was with him, it was also her duty as his wife to be there for him as well. She just couldn't risk Woo Yeon finding him and hurting him again. Luckily Chang Wook knew this very well without her trying to explain herself.

"I have to say, I like this shy side of yours. It makes me want to tease you," he said. Ha Eun quickly looked up at him with an expression that said she was offended. Chang Wook couldn't help but chuckle. "Did you take care of the bad guy?"

Ha Eun nodded, "He hurt my husband, so I made sure he'll never come back," she said.

"Good, that's my wife," Chang Wook said. Ha Eun widened her eyes for a second. It appeared to him that she was flustered by being called his wife, but she had no idea how giddy he got when she called him her husband. Chang Wook took Ha Eun's hand and walked her inside the house.

"Where are we going?" Ha Eun asked. Chang Wook looked at her with an erotic expression. He pulled her towards him as he placed his hands on her hips.

"Are you really asking that question because you don't know?" Chang Wook asked her. Ha Eun's cheeks flushed red.

"Don't worry, no one's home," he told Ha Eun as he pulled her up the stairs.

Once they were in front of the guest bedroom. The bedroom they shared together when they first came here. Chang Wook gently pushed her against the wall, with his hands on the wall on either side of her.

"I will ask you this only once Ha Eun," Chang Wook looked at her like he wanted to eat her alive. That expression on his face both scared and excited her, "Do you want this?" he asked her. Ha Eun knew what would happen if she said yes but could they really do this, in his parent's house? Where they could show up at any minute.

Chang Wook suddenly placed his lips against hers, and placed his thumb against her lips, gently parting them open so he could intertwine his tongue with hers.

"Answer the question," Chang Wook told her as he continued to kiss her passionately. Ha Eun couldn't bring herself to think logically as all her senses were being turned to mud due to his passionate kissing.

"Mhmm," was all Ha Eun could say as their lips were smashed together, but that was all Chang Wook needed to hear. He smiled as he picked her up, with her legs on either side of him. As they entered the room, Chang Wook made sure to lock it. So, they wouldn't be disturbed. He'll make sure to keep her quiet if his parents ever due come knocking.

As he threw her on the bed he told her, "Just to let you know. You won't be walking tomorrow," he said. Ha Eun couldn't help but cover her face from the embarrassment. She felt something inside her she hadn't felt in a while, "I'll make sure to leave you completely satisfied." He said as he planted kisses around her neck.

"I love you," Ha Eun whispered. Chang Wook looked at her awestruck. Ha Eun had already said it but that one time she was drunk so he didn't think it counted, and he had told her before how he felt about her, but he never straight out told her he loved her. Now he felt horrible for not saying it first.

He leaned towards her, laying a gentle kiss on her lips.

"I love you," he whispered to her, "You'll never know how much I love you." Ha Eun's cheeks flushed red as she smiled and kissed him back. She couldn't remember a time when she was as happy as she was right now.

..............

When Ha Eun opened her eyes, the first thing she noticed was that it was dark outside. How long has she been sleeping? She started to panic worried about all the work she had left unattended. She didn't hear her phone; she must have so many missed calls. As she moved to get out of bed she quickly fell. She had no strength in her legs. Ha Eun suddenly remember what Chang Wook told her. She wouldn't be able to walk. Her cheeks instantly flushed red at the memory.

"Did he like it?" she whispered. He kept his word by leaving her completely satisfied but she wondered if he felt the same way. He wasn't in the room, maybe she wasn't as good as she hoped.

Suddenly the door opened and in came Chang Wook holding a tray of food, wearing a baggy shirt and he was in his underwear. He saw Ha Eun on the floor. Her naked body only being covered by the sheets that she had pulled as she fell to the floor.

Chang Wook was of course worried but he kept his promise to her so he couldn't help but grin.

"Can you walk?" he asked her, in a teasing manner. Ha Eun, feeling embarrassed, looked away. He placed the tray of food on the bed and picked Ha Eun up, placing her on the bed once again.

"I brought us food," he said as he showed her the tray. There was a variety of fruits, meats, and cheeses. It was like a platter one makes for guests at a party. He reached for a grape and placed it on Ha Eun's lips, she opened them so he could place the grape in her mouth. He left his fingers there for a moment. Ha Eun had never seen that expression on his face before, did he want to do it again? She was worried that she was too tired, but she was also not going to complain if he offered.

"I would shoot my shot right now but you just woke up from intensive exercise, I don't want to strain your body," Chang Wook said teasingly as he removed his fingers from her mouth and gently placed a kiss on her lips.

"You're being much more forward than before," Ha Eun said.

"Well, I'm a husband that has just made love to his wife, what's the point of acting shy if we'll be doing more of this in the future," Chang Wook said.

Ha Eun didn't react to this but in her mind, she couldn't stop repeating what he had said, "More in the future. More in the future. More in the future." Chang Wook could tell that Ha Eun was flustered. He liked seeing this vulnerable side of her. A side no one could see but him.

"Where are your family and Eun Ha?" Ha Eun asked him. Chang Wook sighed. They were having such a good time together, but she suddenly had to bring up other people into their conversation. Ha Eun worried that since this was his parent's house, they might have heard them. Doing such acts in a home that isn't theirs. Ha Eun couldn't help but feel extremely sorry and embarrassed. Should she apologize to them?

Chang Wook grinned, leaned forward, and whispered in Ha Eun's ear, "Don't worry, they didn't hear us." Ha Eun quickly covered her ear, trying to maintain a cool demeanor when she was feeling anything but cool.

"They're sleeping right now. You can say hello in the morning," he told her. Ha Eun worried about having to explain herself to his parents. She knew that they wouldn't be as understanding as their son. And why would they? In their eyes, she must have broken his heart.

"I don't think I can ever face them again," Ha Eun said as she covered her face with her hands, "They must hate me," she added. Chang Wook smiled. They were indeed disappointed in the fact that she never came to visit him during his stay at the hospital or during his rehabilitation but when Eun Ha explained everything to him and then to his family, they all understood. They were the ones that actually felt sorry for questioning Ha Eun's feelings for their son.

"Grandmother was always on your side though. She didn't believe any of the rumors for a second," Chang Wook said, "she said, she knew from the moment she met you that you were madly in love with me. You just didn't know it." He chuckled. Ha Eun blushed. She thought back to the time before they were merely secretary and boss. Maybe she had liked him for a long time, but she just never acknowledged her feelings. It's most likely she liked him before he liked her.

"I'm sure you fell in love with me first, but I'm the one that fell harder," Chang Wook chuckled as he thought back to the time when he was merely her subordinate. He never would have thought he would fall in love with his boss.

"In all my years I never would have thought I would fall in love with my subordinate," Ha Eun said. Chang Wook couldn't help but chuckle at the thought that they were thinking about the same thing.

"I think we were made for each other," Chang Wook joked.

"I think you're right," Ha Eun chuckled and nodded.
