Chapter 7 - The beginning of the problems (1)

Again Sebastian was in the desert, but this time he had not killed any monster which to begin with did not even approach him because they constantly watched Sebastian kill the others.

Thanks to that Sebastian felt more immersed in the game because usually in a common MMORPG the monsters would attack him regardless of whether he was level 100 and them 1, although he considered that as a normal behavior as well as the predators of the real life.

The behavior of a predator could easily be classified from aggressive to reserved and fearful, so the worms of the deserts were in the stage of fearful, constantly stalking, but never making a movement, although anyway, it would be better not to take their eyes off them, that thought Sebastian at the time of moving in the desert inspecting how the worms were present in the sand about 100 meters away from him.

OH, one of those strange caves"

He said to himself, noting that another door icon appeared on his map and that there was a number above it that indicated the level inside the place.

That was not at all odd since the Great Dessert had an estimated 25-90 level ranking, which indicated the presence of several dungeons that climbed in difficulty and rewards, but many players ignored these places most of the time because these were frequented by PK groups because it was easier to attack in a group and steal experience from a player than from a monster.

Again Sebastian had read about the dungeons in the guide of players, but the guide unfortunately did not explain anything about the PK's which was very obvious since if it were to be put in the guide this would only favor the hostile behavior of one player towards another which could bring complaints from high-level players who were attacked in the dungeons.

Arriving at the entrance Sebastian could see that this was made from hedged bricks which were perfectly cut and put together, within this structure the sand was present in small mountains and the walls every ten meters had a pair of torches which kept a good source of light inside, but it was barely the beginning of the journey to the dungeon.

Every step that Sebastian took inside the dungeon seemed to be heard a kilometer away as they produced echo every time his feet touched the ground, but he went on his way without knowing what awaited him inside the dungeon.

The first encounter happened, a strange creature very similar to a goblin, but this was made of sand which had no eyes, mouth, ears or nose this strange little creature carried a sword that could barely carry, but Sebastian could not sense hostility coming from the creature.

Sebastian knelt down and took out a coconut from his inventory offering it to the strange creature which immediately dropped the sword and dropped it to the ground and ran to take the coconut that he was offering.

The small creature tried in all possible ways to open the coconut, knocking it against the wall, with the sword that he could barely lift until he gave up and threw the coconut towards Sebastian, Sebastian hit the coconut against the wall and managed to break it and prevent most of the liquid inside from falling to the ground.

"It's hard the first time."

Sebastian said, offering the coconut open to the creature which without hesitation took the coconut and ran away leaving the sword discarded.

"..."

He decided not to take the sword since it belonged to the creature so it would be wrong to steal something that is already someone's.

The noise ceased completely and Sebastian decided to continue entering the dungeon, not knowing that someone else was in that dungeon.

The hours passed, but Sebastian was unable to avoid it because inside the dungeon, everything was always the same, continuing his way in the dungeon Sebastian was finding impossible structures within that place, huge staircase that went from one point to another which they were held only by the connection of one wall to another.

Inside the dungeon there seemed to be huts made of wood and straw, which could not be found inside or outside the dungeon, which made Sebastian wonder where those resources had been obtained and who were the inhabitants who lived inside that place. Another strange thing was the lack of presence of monsters in the place, since according to the guide these places always had a constant flow of creatures, but that place seemed to be almost completely empty counting the sand creature that he had found some time ago behind.

Sebastian was unable to find any treasure chest inside the dungeon which made him wonder if at the end of everything, entering a dungeon had been a good idea, until his thoughts were interrupted by an arrow that hit his back.

[You have received 307 damage]

Sebastian at that time was reviewing the huts to find a trace of its inhabitants, so he thought that the attack, he had received had been on the part of the inhabitants of the house, but he went into confusion to see a familiar figure among the group of people in front of him.

Erica and 5 other people were facing Sebastian, all with their weapons in hand, ready to use them.

"What does this mean?" Sebastian said as he tore the arrow from his back.

[You have received 116 damage]

"I'm sorry, this would not have happened if I had not observed the beautiful ring on your finger."

Erica said, pointing her finger at the ring Sebastian was carrying.

"That ring could easily be worth 500-600 pieces of gold in its state and counting that it is an advanced superior ring, bad idea to show it in the city, old man, now just take it off, and we will consider not killing you and stealing you experience.

A juvenile who wore a metal armor with a shield and a club with blades said, while the other members of the group smiled preparing to attack, but this only managed to make Sebastian realize that although he delivered the ring would be impossible that he came out alive from that location.

At that moment a rock hit Erica's head leaving her unconscious and looking up was the same little creature of sand, but this was now being accompanied by corpulent sand creatures which threw rocks of considerable size.
