Chapter 29 - Eyes are the Window to the Sould

Peyton went into labor at about 1 am... It was 2 am when they reached the hospital. Peyton had been in labor for 4 hours, and now their child was on its way...

"Miss Dàk? Miss Dàk can you hear me?" Peyton was disoriented, and was having trouble making everyone out of the voices. "Y-yes." The nurse hekd he arm steady as the pain got worse. "Miss, this will be over soon don't worry. I just need you to breathe, In and out, in and out..." Peyton nodded, trying her best not to break Aaron's hand, she held it so tight due to the pain she thought she might have broken his wrist... "It's gonna be okay. You got this. I'm right here, honey... I'm right here... I got you." Peyton rested her head near Aaron's shoulder and held his hand tighter. But he didn't mind... "Okay... Peyton? Peyton honey, this is the last one. Can uou hold on any longer?" Peyton's eyes were full of tears, as she cried out. "No... No I can't... I can't push any more. I can't, I can't." Aaron held her head to him and kissed her fourhead. "Its okay. Everything will be fine. Just one more. Please. You can do this. I believe in you. Okay?" Peyton nodded while holding back her tears, "Okay..." Aaron smiled and held her down a bit, he wanted to take the pain for her. But any second now their child would ve born... And then they heard it... They heard their baby crying... When Peyton heard it she started cry even more. Even if she couldn't see her child she already loved it...

"Congradulations! Its a girl!" She wailed and cried, and refused to stop in the doctors arms. But before anyone could hold her. Something was wrong. "Get her to the exxam room, she isn't breathing right!" Since she was born almost 2 months early, she was so tiny and frail, and very premature. She was 4.8 pounds or 2.2 Kilograms. "Aaron... Aaron?" Peyton was tired and distrot, Aaron reachedbover to hold her. "I'm here. I'm here." Peyton suddenly got worked up. "Aaron? Where are they taking her? Where are they taking my baby girl?" Aaron held her tighter in his grasp. "Its okay. She will be fine. She's permature, she just needs. to have a closer watch. We will hold her soon." Peyton started to cry on his sleeve, but she trusted him...

"Mr and Mrs Dàk? I have good news. We confused Peyton with another young miss. Daniel did sign Peyton up for the correct surgury. We thought she was Peyton Mack, I'm terribly sorry..." Aaron's face suddently lit up with hope. "What does this mean?" The doctor smiled. "We found the other patient and they understand your prediciment. She is willing to swap out schedualed times, she will go in on November 16'th. Meaningnif its okay. Peyton can have her eyes fixed here. Right now..."

Aaron and Peyton, and everyone else stood there shocked. Peyton was gonna get her sight back sooner than they thought. "What?!?! I can see my baby girl!" Peyton started mumbling thank you and started to cry her eyes out. Again...

Aaron held he close, "Thankyou!"

"If its alright we would like to prep her? And we can start up right after. It will take about 4 hours though to complete and about 21 hours of rest. But we think this will go perfectly fine." Aaron looked down at his beatiful wife. Her shot, blue eyes. They were still beatiful, even if her pupils were shot. He still saw the light in her. The windownto her soul. The first thing he fell in love with when he met her... He never thought he could relive seeing those eyes for the first time. Now he could... "Yes! That would be wonderful..." Aaron looked down again at Peyton. "I promise you won't regret this. This is gonna work... You'll be fine... Goodluck. I love you Toni." Peyton closed her eyes and held him to her face. "I know. I live you too Roni." Aaron hugged Peyton as they started to pull her bed away, to the room where she would be in for the next 4 hours...
