"Just get it before the update starts! Duh?" The Eye glanced disdainfully at Qin.
"How much time do I have left?" Qin ignored the look and asked urgently.
"1 hour," The Eye said. "You'd better hurry!"
"No problem!" As long as he had enough time he could finish the [Quest] that the [RotMG] system had given him.
His target, [Dreadstump], was the boss of a dungeon named the [Pirate Cave], hence his title, [The Pirate King].
Truth be told, the dungeon was for players around Level 1- Level 3.
However, Qin wanted to be cautious and get to Level 3 before going into the [Pirate Cave]. As he leveled up, he got addicted and quickly shot up to Level 6 before stopping.
Honestly, he may have gone all the way to Level 20 in one sitting if the Realm Eye had not told him that an update was imminent.
The [Pirate Cave] was dropped by [Green Gelatinous Cubes], [Red Gelatinous Cubes], [Purple Gelatinous Cubes], [Forest Nymphs], [Giant Crabs], [Sand Devils], and [Goblin Warriors].
Qin had seen most of these monsters on his way to his Quest Monster Bounties. However, Qin had ignored all monsters that weren't his target or its minions.
Now, the Quest Monster Bounty worked in a particular way. Instead of flashing in your face, it would quietly appear on the somewhere around him.
To be specific, imagine there was a phantom circle around Qin. Now, depending on where the quest monster was, the Quest Monster Bounty symbol would appear.
If the monster was far away, the Quest Monster Bounty symbol would appear on the perimeter of the circle in the direction of the monster.
However, if the monster was in the imaginary circle, the symbol would appear above its head.
Now, Qin looked for the Quest Monster Bounty symbol. After searching for a while, Qin found that it was pointing northwest.
Qin was on an island this whole time. But this island was large. Really large.
The shoreline was obviously the edge of the island. The Quest Monster Bounty was pointing straight toward the inner regions of the island.
The further in the regions, the stronger the monsters were. Qin looked at the Quest Monster Bounty carefully. Upon looking at it, Qin sighed in relief.
It was a [Giant Crab].
The [Giant Crab] is a low-level quest monster that is found in the lowlands desert. The lowlands desert was also an exterior region. This meant that Qin would not have to face strong monsters.
Also, the [Giant Crab] dropped the [Pirate Cave] dungeon portal.
A dungeon could be spawned by using a corresponding key for the dungeon you want. This means that Qin could use a [Pirate Cave Key] to spawn a [Pirate Cave] portal.
However, most of the time, you had to buy keys. The other times you would get them for free from the game, or in his case, the system.
However, this didn't seem to be the case for Qin now. Therefore, Qin was ecstatic when he saw that his next Quest Monster Bounty was the [Giant Crab].
"Hell yeah, boy!" Qin began to run after the [Giant Crab] symbol. As he moved, the symbol also moved, maintaining its position on the perimeter of the imaginary symbol.
Qin broke out into a run. However, his strange movement technique induced a sound of surprise from the Realm Eye.
Qin was leaning forward as he ran. His arms were extended one's arms backward while he was running.
The Realm Eye took note of this intriguing phenomenon and continued observing.
-----
Ten minutes later in a desert-like area with cacti and shrubs-
"Ugh. I can't take it anymore," Qin slowed to a walk and began to take a rest. Running like that exhausted him greatly. Although his stamina, speed, and vitality had increased, it was still exhausting.
After a few minutes of resting, Qin began to run normally. However, this time, he refrained from running in that unique way.
Shortly after he started running again, Qin felt a vibration pass through the floor.
*Boom*
*Boom*
Qin looked up and saw in the distance a giant crab running towards him. This was, without a doubt, the [Giant Crab].
"Holy shit!" Qin hadn't expected the crab to be this large. In the game, it was around the same size, albeit slightly larger, than the player.
However, this crab was about 10 feet tall!
"What the f*ck man?" Qin asked the Eye angrily, as he continued to run towards the [Giant Crab].
"Sorry? I mean this system isn't exactly the same as the game you had played in your previous life…" The Eye replied vaguely.
Qin squared his shoulders and faced the crab which had come within 15 feet of him.

[Giant Crab]
HP: 300/300
DEF: 2
-----
Qin scanned the stats displayed about the [Giant Crab].
"Eh," he said blandly. "At least the health is the same…"
The [Bandit Leader] had 280 HP. This crab only had 20 more HP.
'This should be pretty easy,' Qin thought.
Qin dealt an average of around 24 damage each time he let a shot out. In the beginning, he could only attack slowly, with a large interval between each attack, as if he was reloading.
In addition, Qin's dexterity (determines the speed of attacking) had increased along with his level.
But, 24 was only the damage he could do with just his staff each shot alone. With his spell, he could do a lot more damage!
His [Flame Burst Spell] had 20 shots, with each shot dealing 30-70 (average of 50) damage. In total, if he hit all the shots, he could do 600-1400 (average of 1000) damage!
*Shua!*
