Lord Tang frowned at his daughter's words. One of the cult gods dying wasn't really something new, but being replaced immediately was concerning. After all, he has killed a few of those gods. But he didn't have the power to raise one in it's place.
"Do you think that man that built the formation in Zhul city have a part in it?" he asked his daughter. He knew that whoever made that formation was strong. While that person couldn't hide it from him, it still effected him. Of course his leading suspect is Germal, but his trust and knowledge of the man wouldn't let him believe it.
"I am not sure daddy. It might be a god we don't know about, and it has taken over the fallen god. If that is the case, and this man might be an apostle or prophet. Which would be bad, since we let one that powerful unchecked."
Due to fact she conducts research on the cult gods, princess Fang has access to all the information about them. Including the knowledge that there are still very powerful cult gods beyond the inhabited areas. Especially across the sea.
Only the old upper echelons know about the powerful cult gods. They have also been forbidden to pass that knowledge to their successors. This just shows the uniqueness of princess Fang, as none of her other siblings have access to this knowledge.
"Hmm... if that man is an apostle or prophet that is a major problem. This also gives credit to Germal. He was claiming of evil rising, maybe this is what he meant? But even then, I should be able to fight it." Lord Tang started to pounder, mumbling a few words now and then.
---Back at the village---
The villagers had finished praying. All of their fears were taken by the sun. And in return they all gained some power. It wasn't anything special, like a new skill or ability, just a raw increase in power.
For those without cultivation, their bodies grew stronger. And for those with cultivation, it grew in quantity. In both cases it was the same as compressed air. The quality of the air wasn't any different, but the amount was greater.
In this world of cultivation, they had more energy, but when it was time to grow, they would take longer to increase the purity.
Due to this increase, the village elder had everyone train and get accustomed to their new strength.
Aaron however, was trying to figure out what to do with Ritz. He was afraid of what will happen if he suddenly disappeared. No true parent would abandon their children; At least not from his ethics.
'Ding!'
'Informing host. A copy of you will persist in this world after you leave.'
The information provided by the system relieved the boulder that was weighing down on him. He finally calmed down. "Lets go Riku. We to continue our journey."
And just like that, both Aaron and Ritz left the village.
All Aaron did with his remaining time was travel and spend time with Ritz. He was not worried about the forces of Tang hunting him, twice. While he was not aware they his current disguise is also being hunted.
To him, this week was peaceful. He didn't have to commit any acts of 'evil', didn't have to stress about being hunted, or worry about Ritz when he finally leaves.
But for the Tangs, it was anything but peaceful. The new god's was a complete mystery, Germal was still on the run, and they have a possible apostle or prophet of the new god on the loose.
The village where the new 'god' resided started growing stronger. They eventually decided to send some of the youths out to adventure and spread worship of the new god.
Towards the end of the week, new alters were constructed. Other villages were converted, and some of the weaker gods were destroyed and taken over.
The loss of many gods made the upper echelons fearful. Some even started to consider the words of Germal as truth. Princess Fang was at a loss and annoyed that all of her experiments became worthless. Not to mention her experiments on the new god didn't reveal anything useful.
As for Lord Tang himself, he started to gather his old generals, and began recruitment and training for a new war with the gods.
---A small village within the Shendo region---
A child was running through the village, weave between the villagers. He would run into some and would just apologized as he kept running.
The child finally reached their destination, a stone building that by Earth's standards would be a church. The building smelled heavily of herbs and smoke.
"Healer Mary! Healer Mary! The Wallns need you! The baby is coming!" the child shouted.
An elderly woman dressed in a heavy brown robe came out, and the thick smell of herbs and smoke blasted the face of the child. "Okay. Lets go quickly.
At the Wallns house, both the child and healer Mary arrived. With out knocking or any other form of courtesy, healer Mary entered. "Where is she?"
A middle aged man peeked his head out of a room. "She is in here healer Mary, please help my wife!"
The room was plain, just a wooden bed and chair. On the bed was a middle aged woman clearly in labor. "Out. I'll call you when I am done." Healer Mary pushed the man out of the room.
The man paced back and forth outside the room.
A few hours later the door opened. "Come in and see your baby boy." At this the man rushed in and kneeled in front of the bed. The concern and worry for his wife was clearly visible on his face.
"Look honey, our beautiful baby boy is already so strong!" the weak voice of the wife exclaimed in joy as she presented her husband their child.
The baby was adorable, he had a little tuff of blond hair, chubby cheeks, and blue eyes. But aside from his face, there wasn't any fat on the baby.
On the back of the baby's left hand was a mark. The mark looked like a humanoid with wings.
---Outside of existence---
'Ah, so you've sent one of your children? Well I guess that means the balance has started. I wonder how this world will turn out. Will it end up like Earth where science eventually rules, or something like that so called Magic world? What do you think system of good?'
'Well, after what your representative has done, there is more than enough reason for me to get started. We will only know on time, or you can go ask the system of time or even the existence system.'
