A world that thrives conflict, bloody wars, death and destruction. Where just living comes down to kill or be killed, and becoming strong comes down to luck and pedigree.
In this world, civilizations are nothing more than enslavement by the strong. Kings, emperors, overlords, whatever the name, are nothing more than dictators by Earth standards.
Unlike the world of Tang, this is an old world, however it isn't in balance. The evil system has a heavy hand in the world. Sadly it was just the natural course this world took. Those aligned towards evil prospered, while those aligned to good were either corrupted or outright killed.
In fact, there are others here like Aaron, only a representative for the system of good. But that is a different story, for a different time. They won't even meet in this world, although Aaron might hear rumors.
---Enough world building, back to the story---
'Well shit. I can't see, I haven't adapted to this body yet, and I'll die in five minutes. So no pressure.'
Aaron was blinking, trying to adjust his eyes to the darkness. He was also moving his limbs and feeling this new body. Everything felt human, or at least one that was starved and living in cave for majority of its life.
'Well, seems like the body of someone who's been living in a cave. Skinny like its starved, uncut nails, some even broken. Unkempt hair... wait... no hair? Okay, lets see. sharp teeth, ah looks like something took a chunk of an arm. I swear this reminds me of a caveman, exiled or a left behind?'
As Aaron was inspecting his new body, the sound of something flying through the air resounded in his ears. Then another, and another.
Aaron didn't even think twice before dropping to the ground. And not even a second after he hit the ground was the sound of something impacting the cave walls. He could feel the bits of stone and dust fall on his back.
'Fucking shit! What the fuck was that?! Shit shit shit!' Aaron didn't even have the time to think before he heard more things flying towards him.
Aaron dodge, ducked, rolled and dived as the terrain around him became Swiss cheese.
But the new body wasn't as conditioned as his original body, or that of Germal. And eventually he couldn't dodge anymore and died from whatever was attacking him.
'Ding! Mission Failed. 4:50 remaining. Restarting conditioning.'
Again, Aaron finds himself without sight. He receives the same mission, and again fails. And again, and again.

'Ugh. Only had a minute left. But I think I finally know where the creature is.'
Even though he's died several dozen times, he's learned a lot. Things like, it's a stone covered creature and it shoots stone spikes, the layout of the cave he is in. As well as possibly where the creature is when it discovers him.
'3. 2. 1. Dodge left 1 meter, spint forward 5 meters, dodge right 1 meter...' Aaron followed the plan he finally developed to survive the creature.
He dodged, sprinted forward, fell back, laid down, rolled, even stopped still. If someone from Earth could see it, they would think he's running through a hallway full of lasers. Considering how little the flight path of the stone spikes deviated, they might as well be lasers, just without the speed of them.
Time tick down slowly, and before long 4 minutes have passed.
Aaron is covered in sweat, his breathing is hard, and his body is shaking from exhaustion. But he has finally positioned himself and the creature and the final part of his plan had started.
"Whats the matter? You can catch an exhausted weak prey? Are you even a predator? I bet an egg could do a better job than you." Aaron was taunting the creature. But due to the exhaustion, he couldn't come up with any actual taunts. But luckily for our unlucky hero, or rather villian, the creature had very little, if any, intelligence.
Feeling somehow insulted, the creature charged at Aaron.
He didn't move, and instead just grinned.
'3. 2. 1...'
BOOM!
The sound of something heavy crashing echoed throughout the cave. The creature fell into a pit.
'Hahaha, fuck you you damned stone.' Aaron sat down to catch his breath and rest.
'Ding! Mission complete.
New Mission! Start the conditioning. Reach the surface and begin your conditioning. Time limit, 5 days.'
'No, fuck you. Fuck your missions, and fuck your damn conditioning!'
