"Who says evil is bad and righteous is good? Isn't righteousness an abomination to something evil?
If evil didn't exist, could we have righteousness? No! And that is why you have been chosen to become the overlord, demon king, crime lord, what ever 'evil' being you desire!"
Pain. Unrefined, pure torturous pain. It feels like being slowly skinned alive while ants are eating you from the inside. That's all Aaron felt.
"Come on now! Wake up, we need to get started!" shouted a voice deep in his mind. Causing him to finally open his eyes.
The first thing he could see was a dark red sun. After taken a look around, he realized there was nothing else but that sun. Pitch black darkness.
He couldn't even see his own body. As he tried to remember what happened and how he got here, the pain got hundreds of times stronger. Cause him to black out.
"For fucks sakes. Why was this weakling chosen? Ugh guess I'll have to fix him up first."
When Aaron finally awoke, he felt like he was in heaven. His mind was refreshed and relaxed, his body felt powerful and tough.
He opened his eyes to look at himself. But to his disappointment, all he saw was that dark red sun, he couldn't even see the hand he was waving in front of him.
"Don't bother. You don't exist yet, so there is nothing to see." the voice from before sounded out.
"Who, or what are you? Why can't I see anything but this sun? Where am I?" Aaron shot question after question to the void.
"Me? Well, to make things less complicated, I am apart of the system the governs existence. Namely part of the branch for balancing. The Evil system.
As for why you can't see anything, it is because you don't exist yet, wait what do you mean a sun?" the voice said in anxiously.
Aaron just sat there staring at the sun for a few moments before answering. "All I see is darkness and a dark red sun, or star. It just looks like a ball of fire."
"How the hell... why would it be with him? Oh you fuckers, at least tell me why! Huh? Oh sorry, was talking to the higher system. Anyway, the system says it belongs to you. Something about compensation for your death or what ever." the voice mentioned distractedly.
Shock, nothing but that kind of shock where you just stand there, mouth agape, and a stupid expession on your face. That's all Aaron had, he was just told he was dead, and apparently wrongfully or accidently.
Finally coming around, Aaron asked anxiously "What do you mean for my death?"
