I waited until sunset to start my operation. I used one of the Shadow abilities I had learned called Shadow Walker and quickly made it to the armoury. I had memorized the lock combination, so it was easy to get inside, I found the best pair of daggers I could find. I made my way undetected to fathers no, lord Kocian's room.
As I was standing near the door I could hear the faint moans of a man and the crying of a woman, surprisingly the man's moans were louder. I had waited there for a few seconds and steeled my resolve. As I was about to enter the room, I heard stomping and something hitting the wall and the door opened as a half-dressed woman ran down the hall.
Lord Kocian was standing at the doorway muttering in anger, "damn bitch." He then receded back into the room without noticing the shadow go by him into the room. That shadow was specifically me, I waited for him to step in front of the bed and I then said, "hello Kocian."
"Who?"
"No need to know, you'll be dead anyway."
"You can't kill me I'm a no—"
"Ha, you think I care, I'm going to die hahaha. Oh and don't turn around."
"Well if you kill me every terisian guard will aim for your head."
"Oh well, I bet none of them would care considering what you've done," I started moving closer.
"Anyone would go for your head if the price is high enough!"
"But, sigh can't put the price up if you're dead. Don't worry though I'll make you suffer like she probably did."
"If it's a woman you're worried about I can pay you enough to buy the prettiest slave on the market, just please spare my life."
"Oh wow, you changed your tactics, as expected of a spineless coward and if you think you can pay for my mother's life, I would like to see you try."
"Name your price."
"Three trillion gold coins."
"Wha-what?"
"You said name your price."
"But everything has its limits."
"For the life of my parents, no," I was now right behind him, Surprisingly enough, he still hasn't noticed that I was coming closer this whole time. I was thinking where to stab him, now that I was this close. I decided on his left leg. I readied myself and plunged my left hand forward, I could feel the tearing of flesh transmit threw the knife. His Scream reverberated throughout the room and for some reason, it felt like my energy was given a boost. I lost my mind in that feeling, I just kept stabbing him over and over again, he kept screaming but I didn't care.
I don't know when I stopped and just stared at his corpse, but I knew for one thing that he was dead. Now one thought ran through my mind, it was to leave as fast as I could.
