i spent two months hunting as many goblins as possible. i have 2 gluttonous jungle cats as mounts and attack force. if more gluttonous jungle cats hatch then i wont be able to feed them. two is enough.
while adobo and bagnet (names of the two gluttonous jungle cats i hatched) prowl around and eat the goblin carcass and my enchanted bow kills every goblin within 3 kilometers, i walk around storing anything and everything. rocks, trash, leaves, cars, etc. as much as possible when i leave an area theres nothing left. all these things will be sold from my inventory.
after two months of hunting, i returned to the city. the soldiers on patrol are curious about abodo and bagnet. they wanted me to turn it over to the military. i was even led to meet the generals and city officials with the mayor. they want me to willingly hand over my monster pets.
i told them that these can be purchased from the alien merchant. they are the cheapest attack mounts. but their strength does'nt fall far from the high ranked and expensive monster pets.
they followed me to the merchant to inquire about gluttonous jungle cats. they cost only 12 bronze coins and each bronze coin is equivalent to 10 copper coins. its just that such exchange isnt possible with the merchant. me-anne's explanation shocked all of us. weak monsters drop copper coins. monsters with skills drop bronze coins. bronze coins can be exchanged for copper coins but copper coins cant be exchanged for bronze coins. whats the difference between these two coins? cheap food and cold weapons can only be bought using copper coins. no matter how many bronze coins you have you cant buy a cheap food pack that cost 2 copper coins using bronze coins. you have to exchange bronze to copper coins first. weapons with one or two enchantments can only be bought using bronze coins.
so thats why i only have copper coins in my inventory. that also explains the shock on me-anne's face when i showed her bronze coins. the monsters appearing within the first three years should be weak and drops copper coins only.
i saw a ring of healing. it charges by gathering mana from the environment and uses that gathered mana to heal its wearer. it has twelve small crystals that light up when charged. that means it can be used 12 times before its empty of mana. the only problem is that it costs 500 bronze coins.
i opened my currency interface. the one that shows all of the money that i have. i tried dragging the copper coins to the part where bronze coins should be. then a notification appeared.
ding
convert copper coins to bronze coins?
yes__
no__
when i picked yes it asked me how much copper coins i want to exchange. btw the ratio is 11 copper coins for 1 bronze coin. thats ok i guess. i exchanged all of my cooper coins to bronze coins.
i bought 3 enchanted bows, several million arrows and ten enchanted sleeping tents. these tents has auto clean function and can change form into a bracelet. the last thing i bought are lesser healing potions and antidotes.
when i left the protection of the merchants shield all the soldiers pointed their guns to me at the command of the city mayor. adobo and bagnet's attraction to them is strong and they would rather kill me to obtain them than let me go. i activated my newly bought bows and faced them all.
"whats the meaning of this mayor?"
"hand over your monsters along with your weapons then we will let you go." some of the city officials smiled as they looked at the situation.
"let me explain something to all of you." i pointed at the 4 enchanted bows floating above me. "these bows will automatically kill any monster within a certain range. as for humans, anyone that attacks me will be killed by shot by these bows. im wearing an enchanted armor that can protect me from guns. as for adobo and bagnet they are obedient monsters. leave if you dont want to die."
everyone just laughed at what i said. the mayor sent the order and then a few soldiers pulled out pistols and shot at me. they received an arrow in exchange. that managed to shut them up.
"leave. we dont welcome you here if you wont hand over those monsters." the mayor made a gesture as if he is merciful in letting me go. the others said i should go before the mayor changes his mind.
"adobo... bagnet... attack..."
the two gluttonous jungle cats pounced and killed the soldiers with their claws and sharp teeth. it took adobo and bagnet a few seconds to kill a hundred soldiers. then they returned and sat beside me.
"what are you doing?" the mayor tried to hide his fear and shouted. "im letting you go. get out of here. as for your killing of soldiers. ill forgive you this time. next time you will be arrested. now go away." then he turned around and began walking back to his office. the city officials and generals, as if on cue, followed the mayor.
