It was Sakuya's working hours, so it was inconvenient to call her, thus she sent her a text "I got married"
She messaged her close childhood friend notifying her of her marriage.
She has known Sakuya from elementary to high school, they were in the same class until university entrance.
In less than a minute she called back "...you want to get married? How come you never mentioned this to me before..."
"To get married is not correct, is married, note the tense" Seira added.
On the other end of the call, Sakuya didn't answer for a long time. Did mentioning marriage scare her off?
At this point, Sakuya finally resurrected, screamed and shouted "What did you say, you got married?"
So noisy. Her ears hurt a little, she almost dropped her phone due to the powerful outburst of her strong voice. She would have a promising career as a cheer girl if she chose to become one.
Sakuya took the train rushing to the ramen restaurant, Seira was enjoying her ramen, seeing her just raised her hand giving her a somewhat apologetic look 'can't talk right now'
Sakuya immediately made her way towards her and pulled over Seira interrogating her. Her loud shouts caused numerous eyes to be drawn towards them. Seira scowled, she didn't like being interrupted while she was eating. Her scowl was enough to quiet down the loud girl, however she still bombarded her with multiple questions.
Although she had millions of questions in her mind, she waited for Seira to finish eating. "Why did you not tell me about your marriage? We've known each other since we were children and I was not even aware that you had a boyfriend!"
"Who's to say one needs to have a partner to get married?" Seira told her what exactly happened from beginning to end. It all started a month ago, the invitation for a blind date that resulted in their marriage. Of course she excluded the parts concerning Madara's sexual orientation and their fake marriage.
As close as they were, it was not in her right to discuss matters related to the privacy of others, moreover her future spouse.
Listening to her, Sakuya watched her with disbelief shown in her wide opened eyes, exclaiming "you two got married on the first meeting?" Seira nodded her head in agreement.
Sakuya was about to say she was taking marriage too lightly, but she knew better than anyone as her best friend that marriage was something she didn't take lightly.
When she was given a look at the photos on the marriage certificate, she evaluated for a long time before nodding "He's quite the looker, how tall is he?" She enquired.
"Roughly a head taller than me" Seira responded with a shrug. Following suit, Sakuya continued to question her trying to fish more information from her.
Sakuya worried for her, various men have hit on Seira due to her good looks, even she herself felt her best friend was alluring, what more of this unknown fiancé.
If he dared to mistreat her she would make him regret it and end his lineage. Sakuya was somewhat emotional, her best friend, her sister would be married off she was worried but overall she felt happy for her.
Perhaps, just perhaps this may dissolve the hate deep in her heart.
The two drank till Sakuya was out.
After being pushed persistently by Sakuya to drink, she drank. She had been acting playful and intimate as she cupped Sakuya's breast when a shadow loomed over her.
She looked up at the man void of emotion, the teasing smile on her lips disappeared as she greeted him.
He walked forward, his eyes intentionally unintentionally swept across her hands that cupped Sakuya's breast.
"So you indeed have this taste, no wonder you agreed to marry me so quickly". Seira's gaze moved from his to sakuya's breast.
"I dont have such heavy taste" she said coldly. He looked at sakuya who was out on her lap as he told her to put her in the car and he would send them back.
She took him up on his offer, this way she did not need to wait more for a cab. He turned around to speak to the young man behind him "You can return back on your own" only then did she notice the fellow, a rather beautiful man.
Oh, a thought came to mind as she looked at the man. She could feel his gaze full of hostility making her thoughts runs. Sigh. She had yet to marry and she was already met with hostility.
How troublesome. Perhaps marrying this man was no good. Madara felt somewhat unhappy seeing her act so intimate with her friend.
However he was more stifled as he saw her lovely playful expression as she pounced on her friend. The charming smile immediately disappeared when she caught sight of him.
Did she loathe him that much? He wanted to know how he offended this woman when he didnt do anything.
In the back Seira was silent as she stared out the window, when they neared their apartment complex he asked if they lived together with a strange light in his eyes. "We're neighbours," she didnt bother to explain herself as it was not necessary.
She refused his help in taking Sakuya up the stairs. She had a spare key for sakuya's apartment attached to her key chain, it was times like this she was grateful for it.
She settled Sakuya in her bed before heading to her apartment, careful to not make sounds so as not to disturb her mother.
However the lights were switched on, her mother stared at her resentfully at the bedroom door. She asked her why she was home late and why she was so heartless to let her mother stay up waiting for her.
"Have I not returned now?" In the blink of an eye, her mother pulled her down and sniffed around and around, asking if she drank.
She did not deny it however her mother misunderstood as she thought she did not go on the blind date.
Seeing that her mother was tired, she had the notion that perhaps her mothers reaction will be less. She led her mother to sit down on the sofa.
She presented her the marriage certificate, it took her mother a while to process her thoughts. She looked at the hands that held the paper trembling as tears streamed down her face. She was rather unhappy she did not tell her about the marriage.
