Chapter 21 - Chapter Twenty

I was bound by my wrists and my ankles by thick metal bars.

"Help!"

"No help is coming to you Ingrid.'' A voice over told me.

"What are you gonna do to me?" I asked the mysterious voice.

"None of your business.''

" It is if you have to use me.''

"Damn you know how to wind your way around a question don't you?"

"Of course I do,'' I told them, ''I am a very smart person.''

"Fine then, we're replicating your DNA to form a clone of yourself.''

"What?!'' I exclaimed, "Why?!'' I panted.

"To then kill it in front of Loki and release his inner form.''

"What inner form?"

"His dark side.''

The tubes 'clenched' grabbing onto my skin in a firmer grip. From an outside location some weird blue stuff went into the tubes and into my body.

At first I felt nothing, then it hit. It felt like my cells were being ripped.

And for like the millionth time that day I screamed.

***Ashleigh's P.O.V***

I was shivering, it was cold. The stone walls were covered with frost. but luckily Loki was in the cell across from me.

"Did you see where they took Ingrid?" He paced the cell.

"No, the knocked us out before they took us anywhere.''

He ran his fingers through his long hair, "Where could she be?''

Right at that exact moment, a scream ripped through the hall.

Loki ran to the bars of his cell.

"Ingrid.'' He bashed the cold metal as hard as he could.

"What are you doing to her?!" He screamed his voice hoarse.

"Loki! Loki! Calm down, she's strong she'll be okay.''

"But they're doing something to her, she's in pain.''

His eyes shone in the little light, they were full of fear and devastation.

The screaming stopped.

"What happened?" He screamed.

"Oi shut it!" The guard bashed on his bars.

"Not until you tell me what your doing to Ingrid?!" He bashed the bars back.

***Ingrid's P.O.V***

It was black, there was nothing. Except for a little circle of light in the middle of the darkness.

"We've got to stop meeting like this.'' Thor appeared in the middle of the light.

"Yeah I guess so.'' I said.

"So how's it going down there?" He asked.

"Why don't you tell me!" I exclaimed.

"Well everything looks normal everywhere else but we can't seem to see your location.''

I walked up to him, "You need to help us, The Frost Giants have come, thousands are dead, I'm being experimented on, Loki has given himself up and they're basically running the town.''

"What?!" He exclaimed.

"Yeah and we're all screwed.''

"The Frost Giants are calling for war on us, using the innocents to form a tension with us.''

I walked closer, "Can you help us at all?"

"We'll do what we can but we have a truce with the Frost Giants, however this may break it.''

I started to shake, a splitting head ache tore through my head.

"Gahhh!" I clutched my head.

Falling onto my knees, I looked at my hands, my finger tips were starting to turn blue.

"Ingrid what is happening to you?" He asked.

"I don't know, they want to release Loki's inner form, like his dark side.'' I gasped the pain was getting worse trying to pull me back into consciousness.

"Crap, I've seen a glimpse of Loki's dark side, and it's not pretty.''

His voice was getting quieter.

"Help us.'' I asked him.

I woke up on the table screaming. I was in agony, it felt as if  my skull was being pulled to shreds.

"Stop! Please!" I screamed.

"Please.'' I whispered.

***Ashleigh's P.O.V***

The screaming resumed, this time saying Stop, Please.

"Let her go!" Loki screamed.

"Shut it, Asgardian or your girlfriend cops it even worse.''

"Loki calm down.'' I said to him.

His breathes became heavy, he sat down  on a bench and ran his fingers through his hair.

I did the same in my cell. Now it was just a waiting game.

***Ingrid's P.O.V***

When I woke I was in a different room, no tubes coming out of me. Just the cold concrete underneath me.

I sat up slowly, my head spinning, my vision blurry. There was a small stream of blood coming from my wrist.

When my vision cleared, I realised I wasn't alone. Another girl was standing in the corner.

"Did they hurt you too?" I asked.

"No,'' her voice was really familiar.

She spun around, "They made me.''

I gasped, "No, this isn't possible.''

I was staring at me, same hair, same eyes, same voice.

They'd cloned me.
