Chapter 27 - Chapter Twenty-Six

He tried to pull away, but I clung onto him. Slowly he stopped fighting.

I pulled away just the slightest to look him in the eye.

"It's okay, it's me. Really me."

He shook his head, "But I saw you die."

''It was a lie, it wasn't really me."

A ferocious look entered his eyes, "But who was it then? How am I supposed to believe that you're Ingrid, when Ingrid died before my eyes for all I know you could be an imposter, sent to me to destroy me."

I lost it. I slapped him across the face and stared him dead in the eye.

"Now listen here Loki Odinson I didn't almost die a couple of times for you to just accuse me of not being me. I will drag your sorry ass back to Asgard to throw you down at your father's feet, because I have not sacrificed parts of ny life, sacrificed my friends for you to think I'm lying. I'm trying to save you and all you can do is stand here and accuse me of being a fraud. Well fuck you." I slapped him again.

He stared at me a shocked expression sprawled across his face.

Suddenly he grabbed my face with both of his hands.

Shit I thought, he's going to break my neck.

But then he pulled my face into his chest and clung onto me.

I exhaled the longest breath in existence.

"God, I'm so sorry Ingrid."

"It's okay, I understand."

"No I don't think you actually do."

I pulled back and looked him dead in the eye.

"Loki, what's wrong."

He put his hand on my chest, "I need to make sure of one thing."

"What are you doing?"

Before I could react he ripped off the amulet that Odin had given to me. He stared at it fury in his eyes.

"This is my mother's! How did you get it! Tell me!"

"Your father gave it to me, to stop you, and to stop the frost giants."

He clenched his fist over the amulet, "You're lying."

"No I'm not, please Loki, just calm down."

"What have you done to my mother?"

"Nothing, Loki your father gave it to me."

"Stop lying."

"I'm not lying."

He gripped the amulet. Rage piercing through his bright blue eyes.

"Either you tell me what you did to my mother or I will kill you."

"Loki! I'm telling you that your father gave that to me. I didn't hurt your mother. I haven't even met her."

"Stop lying!" He screamed as ice started to slowly fade out of his fingers.

All of a sudden he threw them at me. I threw my hands up to shield myself. But no pain came.

Instead a gushing wind and a huge thud.

I peered through my arms to see a tall, bulky red haired man holding a hammer.

Thor.

"Loki enough, end this madness. This," he gestured to the icy surroundings, " this is not you. Not ny brother."

"Thor, brother. I will end this madness once I have avenged Ingrid."

Thor turned around to face me.

"Are you alright?"

I stared at him, "Am I alright? No! I'm not alright. I've almost died too many times today! First the ice giant thingos, then kidnapping me, then cloning me, then trying to experiment more on me, then jumping from a window, then almost being frozen to death, to this. Like no! I'm not alright!'

The both stared at me. Their faces expressionless.

"So, wait. This is really Ingrid? She's not actually dead?"

I walked up to him, and slapped him again.

"Yes, it is actually me, and yes I'm not dead, so of you would like to stop trying to kill me, then maybe we can figure out a way to get rid of these frost giant thingos."

Loki rubbed his face, "It's definitely you."
