Skyla Morgan is a 16 year old teenaged girl, living a typically smooth and simple life, from which she is totally bored. Not having any friends because of her self-contained nature. She likes to be alone OK, but not all the times.Her mother is just having a totally opposing nature if compared to her, she's very cheerful and always thrilling and always hangs out with her co-workers every now and then.
Her father has left the family after his divorce with her mother for another lady eight yrs back and now both of them were not on speaking terms. Skyla feels like she's torn apart after the awful event but her mother has recovered from it very well but now also she cries in her room when she's alone. Skyla knows all about her mother and is familiar with her every move and she respects her a lot for she's very strong and she did everything for her two kids when her father shrugged off his responsibilities and after that day till now she hates her father. Her brother is two years younger than her and is her best buddy cos he knows her better than anyone. Whenever Skyla tells him a lie, he catches her red handed . Skyla is never able to know how he does that but she's always happy in his presence, whenever the lonliness gets on her nerve she likes to go to him and her whole gloominess vanishes into nothing. She plays video games with him , helps him with his projects and also listens to the new melodies he plays on his guitar. She feels like her brother is really different from all other boys of his age. She also suspects that why her brother isn't having any girlfriends as he's so good natured and also very good at making friends, he can be described as a perfect all rounder, any girl would love to have him as a boyfriend cos he's also very very good looking. But among all this when her mother has to shift from South to North Angelfalls cos her job was at risk here and she got a call from a well developed hospital in North for the post of a head nurse. She was sure that this job will pay her well with promise of an apartment not so far but now, Skyla is moving on to a very new environment here she feels like someone is there keeping an eye on her everymove but then she shrugs off the thought for she thinks she might have hallucinated cos of the new changes in her surroundings. As she's much of a creative girl, her emotions mostly find a way out through her fingers but one day when she's herself not able to determine what and how she've created one of her own paintings, what'll happen? will she be able to decipher the things out in time or will she loose her mind?
