"Mom" I said in an annoyed tone.
"yes, darla" mom, said almost cooing with happiness.
"Why we're going anywhere else when we are better
here" I didn't really felt good here but the forest at the
back of my house where I spend most of my day, painting and singing there. It is like a small world of mine, only me and no one else, miles away from the hustle and bustle of life. I'ld dearly miss the place. Apart from that, I'm having nothing to loose or gain from leaving the place, no friends, no besties, no boyfriends and no classmates from whom I'd ever had a conversation longer than fifteen minutes.
I heard footsteps coming from the staircase behind and without turning I could tell it was Daniel.
''Sky!'' he called,"I'm feeling really very hungry can you please get me some snacks in my room. Actually, I'm working on a school project and maybe you could help me in that too?" he ended his request in an interrogative tone as if he really needed to ask, I am always and everytime ready to help him.
"huhhh" I sighed though, quiet enough that no one could hear.
" Yeah! you should go and help him. I'm going to spend some of my time with my friends and I think I"ll be late returning home, the food is in the refrigerator, you'll just've to heat it up for two to three minutes and it'll be ready, BYEEEEE!!!!!!! " Mom said this all so quickly that I was left dumdstruck and after a moment she was gone. It was as if, she was least concerned about my views and opinions, but I knew better that apart from the job factor my father was another reason, why she wanted to leave the place and I totally understand her grief and her pain cos I saw her breaking and crumbling , shattering into pieces after he left.
