A gruesome sight, the soils of the forest bathed in sweat, blood and parts of monsters. Thats what welcomed the soldiers from the main force as they had returned fast when discovered that a large force escaped toward the retaguard, the place the new guys were at.
The 100-man commander, Edward Stein had been in the battlefield for 7 years and never hah he seen newcomers that could fight such a force with only one month of training. He met with the 4 lieutenants* of this squads and listened to the reports and his face was filled with astonishment 'for a newcomer to fight like that' he though, not even this 10-man comanders reporting would have such abilities and they have been fighting for 3 years at least, with the power of conquest they were quite powerful, although because of lack of talent qnd corage it wasn't a lot, mos were like that, the conquest growth was faster if you bit your enemies in fast succession as it cause a sinergy that multiplies the growth. For exemple killing one goblin gave 1% of its power and 2, 2% of their power, but the third was multiplies its own power with the last 2, making 4% of the power obtained from the 3 goblins, imagine the power like a gas, the more gas, more time it stays in the air and more time to absorbe it. And he killed the first 20 pretty fast, so he must have obtained close to 300%, and then he killed the magicians, and some other goblins, he must be at least 4 times stronger. 'Thats not just normal talent' edward though "Whats his name?"
*Lieutenant is the military rank, while 10-man commander is a military position, one must be at least lieutenant to be in charge of others.

Edward: Alright, reorganize the troops, treat the injuried, clean the battlefield, and burn the corps, we don't want to come back to subjugate undeads. 'Apfel, huh, i will be looking at your progress.'

His strength increased a lot, but that only means that his base strength was that much. The reason is simple 'the background of my character in the game', the game age of heroes and gods had a feature in wich you choose a race and then the game will give you an appereance and background by random.
The appeareance have an effect in the impresion you gave to the npc, it was important, but the background even more so, the background defined your initial 'stats' and could influence your talent with weapons and magic, but even when looking for special backgrounds, his was special, he was a half god and half elf, and not only that 'royalty' his father was from one of the high clans of the elf race, high elves. But his father loved freedom, so he escaped and went on adventure, became a wealthy merchant and then got to know a woman, this woman was actually a goddess, Aphrodite, one of the goddess of love and beauty, even after she left, his avatar lived a pampered life, after sometime his father died and his associates took adventage of his son and took everything, and in the end he could only become a soldier because he didn't have any talent. The point is, he never did any physical effort, so his body was weak, his adventage was his good looks that let him have some benefits, also, his talent for charm magic 'but there is almost nowhere to find that kind of magic' so in the game he only lerned some basic that let him distract weak monsters. 'Well now i should be on the strenght level others normaly start with'.
