After riding for a while, the warm weather changed to the cold weather. When you look up at the window, snowflakes are falling.
The car went through a large gate. Heavy guards are guarding the palace gate.
Before the car can go further, the driver has to show the pass before it can go through the large gate.
When the gatekeeper saw the car driving toward the large gate they recognized it right away. Wasting no time, the gate opened and everyone saluted "Welcome back to our Queen."
Without caring, Aylin Lui focuses on her tablet.
The car started moving inside the gate. Then toward the palace.
Ethan Chance looks at Aylin Lui in confusion hoping that she'll turn around to look at him and explain what's going on. ,
'He must be wanting to know what's going on since I haven't said anything to him. Alas, I should've told him before I came back so I won't get in trouble like now.'
Closing her tablet and setting it aside. Then she looked at Ethan Chance with a guilty showing on her face "my real name is Mu Viola Smith. This land emperor and empress only daughter. I have seven older brothers."
Hearing Aylin Lui words, Ethan Chance's mind went blank. He murmurs softly "so you're from the royal family."
The more Ethan Chance got to know about Aylin Lui, the more he felt small.
He's himself the richest tycoon in the city where he lives. But, compared to Aylin Lui, he's nothing.
Ethan Chance was glad that he didn't treat Aylin Lui that badly before, if he did, his head might get chopped off.
With a good hearing, Aylin Lui heard every word that Ethan Chance just said.
Aylin Lui can see the change on his face.
"Yes. Even if I'm from the royal family, nothing changes. I'm still the same person you used to know."
'Is she being serious right now?'
For the first time, Ethan Chance feels like a fool. They've been married for a long time and thought that he knew everything about her. But it turned out that he knew nothing about her.
`We've been married for so long and she never mentioned her royal background. She didn't talk much about herself either. Am I not trustworthy in her eyes?'
Now Ethan Chance doubts about their marriage.
"My Lady…. What are you going to do about the har...." MiMi glared at Ethan Chance then at Aylin Lui feeling uneasy if she should continue and finish saying harem.
"You know what to do. Don't tell me you want me to handle it myself."
"No My Lady. All you have to do is give me your word and I'll take care of everything."
Their conversation brought Ethan Chance back to reality from his deep thoughts.
'Why is she hesitant to finish what she's saying? Don't tell me it's about what I think.'
"Don't tell me you're talking about harem." He looked straight at MiMi's eyes. Seeing MiMi didn't say anything and trying to avoid his question and his eyes make Ethan Chance's heart beat faster.
He doesn't know if he's angry or sad. All he knows is his blood was boiling hot right now.
He really wants to kill someone right now to let out his anger. But he cannot act reckless right now. He's not in his country and he knows nothing about this place.
Then he turned to face Aylin Lui "So you have harem. FULL of MEN?"
Without turning around to face Ethan Chance "Yep."
For Aylin Lui, it's not a big deal because she never cares about them.
'First she's just an orphan pumpkin, then she's kind of some rich lady. After we got married, and living with her for a while, she's not just some rich lady that I thought she was but way more than that, and now she's the Queen. What in the world is going on right now?'
"Does Leo know about this?"
Shaking her head "I don't think he knows that much about me. It's not like I go around and introduce myself using my real identity."
'That makes sense. She hid her real identity to me till now and haven't found anything much about her before, let alone Leo.'
Seeing that Ethan Chance was about to open his mouth to speak, "We'll talk about this later. I know you have lots of questions that you want to ask right now. But I prefer talking about it privately." Aylin Lui takes the chance to speak before Ethan Chance can speak.
Ethan Chance nood his head understanding her words. He doesn't want to talk about their problems in front of strangers either.
Everyone fell silent and the mood inside the car suddenly felt cold.
Aylin Lui knew right away that Ethan Chance's not in a very good mood right now. She just hopes that he didn't look down on the people in her kingdom.
Not sure if it's because of the silence that makes the trip take longer than any other time. The people in the car feel like it takes forever to reach the palace.
MiMi feels suffocated sitting near with Aylin Lui and Ethan Chance.
The mood between those two is not so good, plus she feels like the third wheel. Even though there's some tension between those two, she can tell that they both care about one another's feelings.
And MiMi could see that Aylin Lui felt guilty not telling Ethan Chance her real identity before coming back to her kingdom.
Of course, with quick wit, MiMi figures out everything after hearing Ethan Chance questing Aylin Lui and the guilt in Aylin Lui's eyes.
All MiMi wishes at the moment is to reach the palace as soon as possible so she can breathe in some fresh air.
After a long ride, the car finally stopped in front of the palace. There standing are the people that Aylin Lui and MiMi are familiar with.
Luca walked up to the car and opened the car door.
With full respect, Luca bowed his head. Then Aylin Lui got out of the car.
Then Ethan Chance followed her. Aylin Lui took Ethan Chance's hand and walked toward the people standing there.
Both of them walked side by side. They look like a work of art.
Looking stunning and perfect for each other. From his aura, and the way he walks, one can tell that he's not someone from an ordinary family.
Everyone was frozen when they noticed a new face get out of the car behind Aylin Lui.
After a few seconds, Mrs. Smith walks up to them and gives Aylin Lui a warm tight hug "welcome home my baby" tears swell up her eyes.
It's beens a few years since she saw her baby daughter. Seeing her all mature make Mrs. Smith felt proud and sad at the same time.
She feels proud because her baby daughter grew up becoming who she really is today. Mrs. Smith knew what hardship her baby daughter had to go through during the time that she's far away.
She feels sad because she couldn't be there for her when she's having a hard time. She knew her daughter was capable of doing really great on her own, but she just wanted to be there for her.
Aylin Lui does the same. She let go of Ethan Chance's hand and gave back her mother a warm tight hug.
