Maya kept Ripun company regularly. She visited her everyday,showed how her son spent the day.... seeing this made Ripun get a hold of her. She was now the old jolly natured woman again. Though she couldn't let go of the sad feeling that occupied a great space in her heart but her feelings started changing into hatred the more she thought about her relationship. She was not a woman who would just keep on mourning over the torn realtionship but the one who would make the person realize of what great blunder he had made by letting her go. She decided that she could not let it slide as her husband did not even think once before getting into another relationship.
"What must I do relieve this stress, Maya? "
asked Ripun.
"Well,you must let go of the past and welcome what you have ahead of you. "Maya answered with a smile.
"Will I be able to do so? "asked Ripun getting sad.
"Of course, You will be, my dear! Just let bygones be bygones. Think, what you want from your life, do you wish to let it go waste for the person who did not even think once about you? "said Maya with a stable and firm expression .
Ripun got lost again in her thoughts when lord Charles entered their room.
"Ahm, Hello Ripun, how are you? "asked he.
"Well ! I am good, you see." said Ripun.
"Would you like to come to the club theme ball ?"asked the lord.
"O that's a great idea!!!. What do you think Ripun.... Would you like to see how do we have fun parties here in our world?" exclaimed Maya with excitement.
"If it is so, then lets go. "Ripun agreed.
Chalres looked at her once before saying, "Maya go with Ripun and get the best party dresses for yourselves.I shall look forward and wait for you both to join me at 9'o clock. Mark will be joining us too. "
Ripun was thinking of it as an opportunity to empty her heart out by drinking liquor.
When Maya went to get ready for the market, she told Ripun to get ready too.
"You should better be loyal.... my cute queen"chuckled her husband when a man offered to dance with her at a party.
"You better be prepared for I might cheat on you Albert. " replied Ripun with a wink. Ripun's mind was constantly thinking of her past memories though she was pretending to be stronger .
She had never thought that once her so called perfect married life would shatter into pieces like this.But she would not live with this feeling forever. The night arrived. Maya and Ripun had come back in one hour. Maya helped Ripun wear the black deep neck shin length dress. It had quarter length arms and When Ripun came out after wearing the dress, even Maya couldn't take her eyes off of Ripun. She looked so gorgeous. She had worn a pink lipstick and black pearl studs. She had left her hair open without binding them in a pony tail as she usually did. She was simple yet beautiful. Maya took her leave to get ready while Ripun decided to wait there for her. Someone knocked at her door. When she permitted to let the person be in,it was Charles. He was dressed in grey tailor made suit in which he looked absolutely stunning. For a moment, Ripun forgot all her worries and gaped. Charles couldn't help but chuckle seeing her expression but he didn't make it obvious. He was happy.
When he saw Ripun carefully.... he couldn't resist but admired, "Who can think that a lady may look so wonderful in such a simple but graceful attire. You look amazing darling. "
Ripun blushed hearing him complimenting so generously but she also tried not to make it so obvious.
"Thank you Sir, so do you! "complimented Ripun.
Charles offered his elbow for Ripun to hold but she was confused.
"Umm, I was waiting for Maya.... Please don't mind but Can we leave when she comes? "asked Ripun.
"Well! She has already left with Mark as I met her on the way .Then shall we? "
"Aa, Yes, we should !"said Ripun with an awkward expression.
