"That was some movie." Sean commented as they walked out of the cinema.
"You didn't think it was cheesy?"
"Oh, it was. But a little cheese every now and then feels great, doesn't it?"
They were walking amicably side by side, any trace of the tenderness they shared gone. But then again, it was probably only a tender moment to her. Sean was glued to the screen the entire time.
"Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it," She told him .
"And I'm glad you enjoyed it. See? A little fun is good for you. Makes you look more alive."
"Hey, are you implying I look dead when I'm working?"
"Maybe."
"What?!" She swatted him playfully on the arm.
Sean laughed. "I'm kidding! I'm kidding! You're actually very animated when you work. And I like that animation."
Then, to her surprise, he kissed her on the forehead.
Then in a low voice, he added, "That's why I think it's such a waste that the sole recipient of it is your work."
"I-it... It's not." Dell stammered. She was sure her entire face was red. She wasn't sure if she was more embarrassed of the kiss, or of the fact that she was feeling embarrassed of a mere forehead kiss.
Sean laughed again. There was no hiding her red face.
"Stop laughing at me!"
"But you're cute," he said, poking her red cheeks.
"I am not cute!"
"Yes, you are. Aww, are you embarrassed of a little kiss?"
"Why would I be embarrassed of a granny kiss?!"
Sean laughed even more. "A granny kiss! I like that! Did you just make that term up?"
"Hey, stop teasing me already!"
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." He put his arm around her shoulders and squeezed her to him. "But now I know your weakness. Granny kisses."
"Hey aren't you being a little too touchy?" Not that she minded, though.
"You're my girlfriend."
"Not a real one," she whispered.
"That's why I'm stopping at granny kisses," he whispered back.
She tried to pout, but she couldn't help but laugh as well. But their merrymaking was suddenly interrupted by a ringing.
"Oh, sorry, that's mine." Dell took out her phone. It was Raph. "I won't be long, I promise."
She could see an annoyed expression flicker on Sean's face. But she needed to take this call. She moved some distance away and answered it.
"Raph!" She said, all the while mouthing an apology towards Sean.
"Hey, Dell!" Raph sounded confident. "How's it going?"
"Great! Just great! Umm, what's up?"
"ElemTech's throwing a party to officially launch our Mach 1 Predictive System. I'd be honored of you could come."
