Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 Junk King Qin Ming

In a secluded corner, a figure was busy tinkering with something. He moved his hands back and forth, adjusting various parts, and then, with a triumphant shout, he lifted the item high into the air.

That item was a revolver.

The person messing with the gun was none other than Qin Ming, fresh from a successful robbery. Having distanced himself from the gun shop, he had already tested his equipment fusion.

By successfully merging the white-quality dagger into the similarly white-quality revolver, Qin Ming had managed to upgrade his revolver to a new, more powerful version.

[Name: Modified Revolver]

[Quality: Green]

[Category: Weapon]

[Requirement: None]

[Attribute 1: Paired with special bullets, deals 20 fixed damage per shot.]

[Attribute 2: Restores one bullet every minute.]

[Description: A revolver with an enlarged caliber. One shot, one kid down.]

Looking at the shiny new weapon in his hand, Qin Ming couldn't suppress the grin spreading across his face.

Next to him lay three other pistols.

These were the spoils from the robbery, but since they were obtained illicitly, the Nightmare Space didn't recognize them and thus they couldn't be fused with his equipment.

This made the robbery somewhat pointless, as Qin Ming only had one box of bullets—barely enough for himself, let alone for these extra guns.

Well, maybe not entirely pointless! After some quick thinking, Qin Ming had already figured out a new use for these three guns.

Ten minutes later, on a darkening street, as a man passed by, a shadow suddenly approached and whispered in a low voice.

"Psst, brother, want to buy a gun?"

"Huh?"

The man turned around, confused, and glanced at Qin Ming.

Qin Ming, looking sneaky, scanned the area to make sure no one was watching. Then, he quickly opened his coat, revealing three pistols hanging inside.

"Brand-new guns, three different models, half-price special. Want one?"

The man, who had been planning to buy a gun from the nearby store, shrugged. After picking up one of the pistols and checking the parts, he found everything in order. He nodded to Qin Ming.

Moments later, the deal was done. Qin Ming successfully sold one gun for $250, which the system recognized as valid currency, allowing him to exchange it for 250 points back in the Nightmare Space.

With his first successful sale, Qin Ming grinned and quickly ducked into an alley to find more customers.

Qin Ming wasn't just randomly looking for customers—he was smart about it.

His Scrap King talent wasn't just a simple ability. In fact, every adventurer's talent was a reflection of their personality and soul, unique to them.

Qin Ming's ability to acquire the Scrap King talent meant that he was naturally suited to it.

In the real world, Qin Ming had been a master of seizing opportunities! A money-maker, a skilled trader, and an expert in speculative business.

In short, he was a hustler! He sold whatever was profitable, and rarely lost money.

So finding the right customers and selling specific items came naturally to him.

He strategically set up his gun-selling operation right outside another gun shop.

Every time a customer approached the shop, Qin Ming would jump out and promote his goods.

Thanks to his lower prices and brand-new stock, he quickly poached two more sales, earning another $500.

But soon, trouble found him...

Obediently raising his hands, Qin Ming stood silent as one of the men snatched the guns hanging from his chest. His expression remained meek.

The two thugs, both armed with knives, glared at him viciously.

"You've got some nerve, selling guns on our turf! You looking to die? Get out of here and sell somewhere else, or I'll gut you!"

After threatening Qin Ming, the man hung the stolen gun on his belt and even slapped Qin Ming's face with the flat of his knife.

Seeing that Qin Ming didn't dare make a sound, the man turned to his partner with a grin, and the two of them began walking away.

As they left the alley, the thug waved his knife, boasting to his friend.

"Did you see that coward? Guys like him are born to be bullied. Bet he'd faint at the sight of blood, unlike us, living life on the edge."

As the two thugs laughed loudly, they didn't notice that Qin Ming had lowered his hands and was silently drawing his revolver...

Bang!

The first thug, still smiling, dropped to the ground with a bullet in his head.

Startled, the second thug turned to see the once-submissive Qin Ming now aiming a revolver at him, eyes narrowed.

"Wha—wait, I—"

Bang!

The second shot hit him square in the chest, and before he could fall, a third shot rang out.

Hit twice, the thug finally collapsed.

Qin Ming, not wanting to take any chances, kept his distance and fired another round into each of the downed men's vital spots.

Only when he was sure they were both dead did he cautiously approach.

After kicking the bodies to confirm their deaths, Qin Ming quickly searched their pockets.

He recovered the gun they had stolen and took their cash and knives, before hastily fleeing the scene.

This place was now a murder site. Time to leave!

A few minutes later, near the entrance of another gun store, a new customer was approached.

The man, puzzled, watched as a grinning Qin Ming opened his coat, revealing not only a gun, but also two knives and a watch.

"Hey, brother! Want to buy something? Grand opening sale! Dirt cheap!"
