As soon as Guinevere appeared, all eyes are on her. Clad entirely in silver, she wore a green belt. Her dress is a magnificent layer upon layers of train that dragged itself on the carpet rug. With a glance, she exudes grandeur. She wore a green gem on her golden hair. Her beautiful eyes glimmer with brilliance.
Faith heard many people gasp in awe and praised her beauty, but she could care less as she was distracted by someone else.
"Uncle, I believe your hand is touching somewhere it shouldn't." Gawain looked at her coquettishly and took off his hand.
It is at this moment; she felt a killing intent from her back. She turned and saw Arthur's displeased expression at Gawain. "Stupid woman, hurry up and come to my side now!"
Once the time for dinner is here, Lady Morgana brought Guinevere to Arthur's side. Usually on both sides of Arthur at the dining table, the seats belong to Fay and Lady Morgana. However, today, Lady Morgana gave up her seat for the princess.
Guinevere greeted Arthur. He greeted back politely. Guinevere cast a quick glance at Faith and smiled softly. She commented on how unexpected it is that Faith is now a duchess and congratulates her.
Faith noticed the hidden displeasure in the women's eyes. Well, the only thing is that her and Morgana are both think Arthur should marry Guinevere.
'She's changed' Faith thought before staring off into space, lost in her own thoughts. She responded mediocrely when anyone tried to talk to her.
She thinks that Guinevere then urged Arthur to go visit Greece. The Aegean Sea has a great sunshine that envelops you like a blanket bla bla bla. But afterwards, she stopped paying attention.
She didn't really remember how she had gotten to her room late that night.
"Hey, can you please knock before coming in!" Faith said when her door opened suddenly
"I am free to go wherever I please in this castle." Arthur then walked in.
"Then why are you here?"
"I'm bored. So, I came to you for a chat." He sat on her bed without reserve.
"…" Faith was quiet as she turned around and laid on her bed. Waiting for Arthur to start talking.
"Fay, I wanted to talk about the black chair."
"Ohh," Faith said.
"These past few days it has been wearing down day after day. Do you know anything about it, Teacher is not heard so I can't ask him"
"…" Faith looked solemnly "Merlin explained to you about the table right."
Arthur nodded "Somewhat he muttered"
"Everything about the round table has a reason" Faith sat up "That
Black Chair like Lancelot's is right next to you. Do you know what that means?"
"It means my strongest Knight right," he said.
"Yes, but can't you tell who's stronger"
"Lancelot of course" Arthur defended.
"No, he is not"
"Huh"
"That Chair represents the strongest Knight in Camelot. That person is
stronger than both you and Lancelot."
"I see," Arthur said lost in thought "Why is the chair black?"
"Because of that person as no faith in You"
"Why doesn't he?"
"Why do you think it's a he, and not a she"
"Because a Knight can't be a woman, its impossible for a woman to be stronger than a man."
When he said that something cracked inside Faith
"So, does my strength not count" Faith muttered trembled looking down at her the wrinkles she in the bedding.
"What are you talking about Faith? You cheated all those times didn't you." Arthur said.
"..."
"Hey, Fay"
"…."
Arthur frowned as she didn't respond.
"Arthur, I'm tired I want to go to bed."
[Next Morning]
Arthur frowned while looking at the broken black Chair, it was very ominous. And many knights worried about it. The Chair was already worn but now it's completely broken.
Some Knights tried to move the chair, but they couldn't it's because it was part of the round table.
Faith had no expression at the time.
And the next few days went by with her becoming distinct from the others.
