Mana looks deeply into the turquoise Ord that floats peacefully above the fountain lying in the center of a circular like room. She signed, leaning against the concrete of the 'Farin' fountain which wasn't cold or Warm.
She had experienced life hundreds and hundreds of times, and both filled with its horrors and wonders.
After descending into godhood, she wasn't forced to keep doing missions. The system she started with had transformed into a massive castle isolated on a floating Island surrounded by space itself. As strange as it was it still had day and night. She called this Place "Tēvan".
She also gained an actual physical form; her beauty was ethereal and unique. Her soft pale skin matched perfectly to her dark hair and her eyes that often-changed colors were now a purplish hue.
She turned her face towards her hearts library which contains knowledge of multiple worlds. It was built to be endless and ever-growing. She turned her head back to the fountain looking at her reflection before signing once more.
Mana remembered the true God; the man was ancient and week when she met him. He had a strong personality despite his appearance. He told her that she was the first one he blessed that made it this far and that he didn't think she would succeed in ascension. He needed a soul that was strong enough to take his place. If didn't find someone he and all creation would disappear. A god will die when their "will" ends. He held on to hope that his creations would continue his legacy even with him gone. He gave the name Mana and the title Goddess of Destiny.
At least that is what she thought initially. When she zoomed back into those memories again his existence starts to feel more like a lie than an actual truth. Her system was built by someone else. She knew this, yet, she could not figure out why he exists in her memory in the first place. It was a mystery to her.
Maybe it was to give her purpose in this life of true immortality. Or to encourage her after the trial she faced. Thinking about the trial hurts even more.
"No, gain is given without suffering" She whispered
After the so-called true god disappeared, she transverse to another world's immediately. God or not she was still a maiden in love and always wanted to be with the person she loved. No matter what form or the world he was in she had always followed. It was his soul she craved and chased after. Life after Life.
However, her instability and naivety towards her new stature caused many problems. Even her innate trauma made her gave up on chasing her love and spending many millenniums without traversing or meeting him again.
During that time, she was creating whole worlds and sometimes universes. It was easy to create them since all she had to do was think about it and then with a wave of her hand they'd appear. Mana would bear gifts to mortal souls most went to the ones with unfortunate fates and sometimes to ones to spare time. Giving others a chance at a new life also came naturally to her, allowing them to reincarnate with their memories.
There were times when she meets them in person but rarely did, as she feared destroying their souls. Some of those souls descended into godhood just like her. Although their powers weren't like her, that would go destroying multiple universes all at once, if she so much as coughs or sneezes.
Mana lightly touched the surface of the fountain; the ripples affected the orb as it changed its color to white. She came to a decision, believing she was stable enough to transverse after all this time.
"Elfin," she said lightly.
The Orb started to shine and was getting brighter and brighter until everything was white.
