I have never written something like this before. I have this bad habit in my writing to rush anything so I thought, "Why not just create a story where it forces me not to rush?" And this was the result of that kind of thought. It is... kind of dark but that is my personal writing style. I won't force you guys to read it if you don't want to. >_<

In a very, very dark room sat a boy with black hair and eyes in front of his computer completely ignoring everything around him. His eyes were only focused on that brightly lit screen.
Suddenly a single word escaped his chipped lips."...lost."
Then another word came in front of it. "I... lost."
Tears began flowing down his face. He had not felt these things for such a long time. It was both refreshing and sad. He tried to wipe them away again and again but they continued flowing.
And the truly sad thing was... no matter how much he cried he didn't know why and he didn't care because... he doesn't want to waste any water.
He is alone here, in this room, in this world. No, the more correct version would be that he was abandoned by the people he loved the most. In his sadness he pushed everyone away and they all eventually lost their interest in him.
And now that he has lost... what is going to happen to him? He is scared of the light outside. Whenever he sees the door he begins to shake as if the world is about to end. So he had covered the entrance to the door with a blanket.
There was food littering on the floor as well as blankets and as well as many other things. He had not cleaned up this place in a long while and he had not thought of doing it either.
No one took care of him and he took care of no one. He has been alone already for three years. He looks at the calendar. He sees that it is about time to look for places to go for college.
He swallowed the saliva in his dry mouth and began to search for places that accepted students. It of course didn't take long before he found a place that was nearby. He was living in the capital after all.
He looked at the name. The Royal Academic University. Although its name sounded like a place for rich people, which it was, it did accept students who were exceptionally smart but... it did require the student to live on the school grounds. Maybe he should make a call?
No. He was too hurt to talk to people. Wait. What was he hurt about again? Oh yeah, that, that happened. But... it sounds so childish now. Why doesn't he just... get over it? Yeah. He really should.
He stumbled over to a phone on the wall and began typing in the number and he heard a ringing noise from the phone that he hadn't heard in a long time.
Finally it was accepted. "Hello? This is The Royal Academic University. What can we help you with?" The sweet voice of a girl was heard and the boy began to blush.
"Uh, umm, I called about the entrance exam into the university?" He said while sounding a little unsure of himself.
"Alright. Then can you please send an email to us with your qualifications. Then we will take a look and first see if you meet the minimum requirements and then after that you will have to come and take that entrance exam. Is that alright?"
"Umm, yes. But, uhh..."
Then the girl asked, "What is it?"
"Umm, you see, can it be arranged to have a single room for oneself?" The boy asked while still having that timid tone of voice of his.
"We can talk about that if you pass all of the qualifications." She answered with a surprised tone of voice.
"Then thank you." The boy responded in a little more happy tone. She didn't immediately reject it so it was possible.
"Ohoho, you are quite welcome." The girl laughed like a young noblewoman and then the boy stopped the call and slid down the wall.
But surprisingly he wasn't filled with despair or anything like that. Instead the boy had smile on his face that could not be imitated even by the best actor in the world.
