"Hurry up! we need to find and kill that tiger, we only have two more days left!" Lucas yelled ahead of us.
"You're not one to talk! who's fault do you think it is that we're off the path given by Mrs.Principal and got lost in this forest, it's all because you want to chase that damn bird!" Stephanie complains as she frees her legs from the mud.
"Oh come on, you ate most of the bird by yourself after we caught it so quit blaming me about it." He groaned in frustration
"Everyone get ready 7 killer bees approaching!" Elea suddenly warned
Currently, we are somewhere in the forest near the academy or at least we think we're still near but honestly it's unlikely with all these monsters we've been encountering since yesterday.
"Lucas taunt, Stephanie and Luna support, Vayne help Lucas!" Elea commanded as he took an arrow on his bow
"Got it!"
"Leave it to me"
"Okay!"
A myriad of answer replied to him before Lucas let out an ear-piercing roar, getting all the bees to turn and charge at him. I slash at two that got close to Lucas and cut one in half as the other one fall back.

A skill commonly used by warriors and knights. the use of this skill can be varied depending on how one uses it, for example, it can be an insult or it can be a gesture. The target(s) of this skill will receive a -5%dmg penalty and its attention will be locked at the user for 30 seconds. There will be a 3 seconds lag where the user cannot move after the use of the skill.
Note: target(s) with higher Int than user have a chance of not being affected by the skill.
After the lag period, Lucas and I become the tank of the group as arrows and spells pick the bees out, soon all the bees were taken out.
"Good work guys but stay alert, we don't know when we'll face more opponents," Elea said calmly as he starts dismantling the bees for their core.
Three days ago, after I woke up alone in the training ground I went to look for Mrs.Emilia to ask about the test, I failed. I walked out from her office gloomily and head towards the garden where I promised the guys to meet after the test.
When I told them about it, Lucas dragged me back to Mrs.Emilia office and asked if there's anything I can do to change the results of the test, she said no. But Lucas keep pestering her about it and I guess she got fed up then she told us to hunt a tiger-like monster in this forest, she said that it's an assignment for his party and I'm allowed to go with them.
Lucas didn't really seem to agree as it have no effect on me failing whatsoever and was about to said something but Mrs.Emilia cut her off by telling me that Mr.Leo will retire and leave the academy in five days and that I should return by that time if I go with the guys or Mr.Leo will leave without me then she kicked us out of her office.
After that, we returned to the others and head out right away after we prepared our gears. Along the route Lucas spotted an animal that's famous for its meat and beautiful feathers called Oran, Oran looks like an oversized turkey with peacock-like feathers except for its rainbow of colors. The one Lucas spot it but a chick and is as big as a full-grown pig, according to books that I read these Oran could reach the size of an SUV when mature.
After we caught and kill the thing it's mother come seemingly to have heard its cries before and we ended up being chased by that thing for two days deeper into the forest and as to add to our luck it started raining and the dirt turned to mud. Not long after we encountered some iron fanged wolfs, killer bees, iron spiked hedgehogs, goblins, and some slimes. the goblins are actually half an adult size and the slimes are not cute like a certain RPG, but a puddle like corrosive creature with a core.
From yesterday until today, we keep wandering under the rain looking for the tiger cuz Lucas refused to return before getting it. Though it actually gave me good hauls, I got some good quality medical herbs and other alchemy materials. The others didn't like it so much though that I sometimes casually pick some fruits or berries from around use until I told them about it but seems like they're not mad because the fruits could be poisonous but because I didn't share.
But seriously though, if I were to base this forest to some random RPG comparison then we'll be in the middle layers I guess. I don't want to jinx meeting the tiger in this rain and mud but I am really tempted to now that the sun is setting from the horizon.
"Hey guys, do you think we'll find it? We've been in pretty deep already." Luna said as she tied a couple of branches and leaves to make makeshift roofing for her and Stephanie who are currently preparing some rabbit and wild vegetation for a broth.
"Of course we will, we just have to go deeper," Lucas replied as he shadow boxing, receiving only blank looks from the girls.
"It is possible if we enter deeper, but keep in mind it will also become more dangerous if we do. So I want to vote if should we push through or should we turn back, we'll turn in our vote after dinner." Elea said before helping me set up the alchemy gear I borrowed from Mr.Leo, who happily lend it, on a matt under some trees.
After that I don't really pay attention to the others as I started making health potions and mana potions like any other nights, so far it's been helping us for when there's no time to cast healing spells and when we run out of mana. Although I have enough material for a couple of supporting potions like iron skin that increase defense or Titan's muscle that increase attack, I have no confidence in making them because I only have it's theory and never actually make it before. I also make some poison coatings for Elea from the bees poison glands, it's weak but at least it slows down our targets and it disappears 5 minutes after death so it's consumable.
I stopped for dinner before I resume making potions, at some point the rain stops. I keep making potions until Elea come up to me and told me to rest, after packing everything and distribute the potions equally I climbed one of the trees and lays on the branch. I then check my status before I went to sleep.
