The next morning she powered on her phone, and made a quick call to MinYue: "Good morning Sir. I hate to disturb you so early on a Saturday, but I want to apply for a two week leave."
"Alright, just make sure you email me the proper paperwork."
"Thank you. Will do."
"Mmmh."
"Have a great day, Sir."
"You as well."
"Bye."
"Bye." She quickly powered off her phone, and then grabbed her suitcase, and walked out of Lisa and MinHe's place before the both of them woke. She drove to the airport, and booked a flight to a random place.
Tom woke up to his phone ringing next to him. He quickly picked it up hoping it was Mary, but then a deep voice came through the phone, "8749 Spring Lane." Tom's eyes flashed wide open, "My bank account info hasn't changed."
"Alright." Tom then hung up the phone, logged into his bank, and wired over $1,000 to the account labeled as Mr. X. He then ran to his closet, grabbed a shirt and pants, threw them on, and ran out the door. Punched in the address he was just given while power walking to the elevator.
After a 15 minute drive he pulled up on the side of the road and looked at the two story house in front of him. Just when he was about to get out of his car he saw someone who looked just like MinYue with his arms around a lady with a large belly bump. Tom could tell that the woman was pregnant. He furrowed his brow, 'What is MinYue doing with another woman!? And she is pregnant? I need to tell Cera.' he snapped a photo, and quickly sent it to Cera. He then called Mr. X back. Before the man on the other end could say anything Tom yelled into the phone, "You gave me the wrong address!"
Mr. X was speechless for several seconds before responding, "I did not. She was there, but not too long ago she booked a ticket with Northwest airlines. She is leaving the country. What did this lady do?"
"She is running away!" Tom yelled into the phone, and then hung up. He pressed his foot onto the gas and sped away causing the tires to squeal.
Lisa and MinHe were going to visit her parents, so MinHe was currently helping Lisa into the car when she heard tires screeching and then a car fly past their driveway. She immediately thought of Mary for some reason.
