Chapter 2 - Family and purpose.

Yasuke didn't know what had happened he knew he had died and made peace with that but he never would have expected to be born again. He had heard a low voice when he was dying, but he thought it was just his mind playing tricks on him. He could hear an old voice almost ancient like a whisper in his ear it was the most soothing voice he had ever heard in his whole life, not even the best voice actors could achieve 1 percent of the perfection of this voice.

"Young one you have lived a decent living I will allow you to be born again in the era you wished to be born in I hope you will find your purpose there young mortal boy.

All those years ago your ancestor helped me when I was at my weakest. Right now I will help you his offspring to live the life you desired. I hope you will live a life that you wanted. I will see you when you die for a second time and then you will return to the normal cycle of the elements like every other mortal being.

And like this, Yasuke tried to open his eyes again and when he opened them and the darkness faded. Was he born again he decided to look at the person that was holding him a young looking women probably about 28 years old black hair, smooth skin and the most beautiful smile he had ever seen. This person was his new mother. He looked around to see in what kind of house he was in and could see the old style they used in the Sengoku period he didn't know the exact time he was born, but he concluded that it was around the Sengoku period. The house looked very beautiful he could conclude one thing because of it. He was well off this life he was most likely part of a clan and was wondering what clan he was born in. But when he looked around he saw the crest the clan logo and was shocked at what clan he was born in it wasn't any unknown clan.

He passed his days quietly not really crying only when his small body needed to since he couldn't talk he needed to cry to show he needed food. He had seen his father once in this entire time he could guess it was because he was most likely not the heir to their family.

In these couple of days, Yasuke began familiarizing himself with his new name.

Yasuke Date, second son of, Date Terumune and Yoshi-Hime and younger brother to the well-known Date Masamune. Yasuke was shocked the first time he heard his name because the Date clan was a notorious clan that resided in the Sendai domain but he felt lucky he wasn't the heir to his father. It was a high honor to be an heir but to be honest, Yasuke didn't want to deal with all the things that came with it like the politics. The young boy lived a carefree life thinking about many things for his first few years.

Humans were interesting things every person was the same yet so different every human had different goals and things they would want out of life. People would want to become an heir to a noble family, a samurai or even a farmer. They are all mortal and will die one day, yet one lives his life feeling unfortunate for himself and blaming others while others take intuitive to change and experience their lives.

Yasuke couldn't understand many things about humans, yet he found them interesting he started to think for many years on the various questions in his head. After all, right now he was a young child that didn't do anything other than sleeping and eating there were no expectations put on him since he wasn't the heir but he had put hopes on himself. One day he would try to gain the title his ancestor had Mushashi he wanted to become so skilled that one-day people would call him. By a nickname Musashi also known as sword-saint.

Many things were unanswered since Yasuke couldn't understand many things. Like his purpose what would you expect from this young boy even if he wanted to live like the Samurai what was his goal every samurai had different perspectives on this. Was his purpose just to become strong? Make his family proud? Become the strongest to have ever lived? He didn't know just yet it was a mystery to him his true goal right now was to find out what to do in this life. He had family and resources to become a good samurai. But yet would he find true happiness in this life? Would he achieve his so-called perfection? Those questions scared him.

How would such a young boy deal with all this how would he rise to the top? It's something we will have to find out throughout his life.

The boys daily thinking came to an end when he turned four years old this was the day he would meet his teachers and would begin his official journey in this world.
