Mei Chen was quietly sitting at the backseat of Tony's car, her legs were wrapped with a blanket.
What happened earlier kept on repeating in her mind. As she looked at the car window she saw the vast blue sea.
Last night, it was pitch black when they arrive that she didn't realize that they were by the seaside.
The sea looks so calming and beautiful just by looking at it, it easily put her mind at ease.
"Hey, can you drop me off here?"
Mei Chen suddenly exclaimed. Tony looked at her and he immediately stopped his car.
She bow her head down and vehemently thanked and apologized to Tony for troubling him.
She then walked to the beach after she watched Tony drive away.
She figured that she'll stay and sort her feelings out while watching the sea.
Hearing the waves and basked under the sun.
After an hour she decided to return back to the hotel, only to find that Kenny had already checked out.
She felt a sharp pain in her heart upon hearing that Kenny had already left.
She reckoned that she have over reacted earlier and instead of talking things over, she left him.
Knowing that she had cause their misunderstanding to blow out of proportion she felt guilty.
Mei Chen was feeling all sad she look so pitiful and desolated.
She asked the receptionist if she could borrow her phone.
The receptionist was kind enough to let her book for a ride.
Just as she was about to search for a transport service to drive her back to S City, someone tapped on her shoulders.
"Why are you still here?"
Mei Chen exclaimed as she saw Tony smiling warmly at her.
"I forgot something..."
Tony replied. The truth is, as he was driving he saw Kenny drove past him.
He notice that Mei Chen wasn't with him, worried for Mei Chen, he drove back to Blue Paradise and waited for Little Mei.
Sure enough, Mei Chen entered the hotel still holding the blanket that he lend to her.
Mei Chen looked at him, tears were swelling up in the corner of her eyes.
She felt so alone in an unfamiliar place without any money or her phone.
Even if she wanted to call for her sister Tia, she didn't memorized her contact number.
Calling for an uber was her last resort. But knowing how far G City is to S City, she would need some kind of miracle to find a driver to give her a ride.
Tony was startled seeing the tearful little Mei infront of him. He hastily handed her a napkin.
"Hey, since we're here why don't we grab some breakfast and I'll drive you back to S City?"
"...."
Mei Chen wanted to turn down Tony's offer, she was really feeling hungry and exhausted but she doesn't want to trouble him anymore.
Just as she was about to refuse, her stomach rumble so loud that she turned so red due to embarrassment.
Tony chuckled, then he grabbed Mei Chen's arms. Mei Chen winced in pain as Tony touched her.
It was then that Tony notice the swelling in her arms.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't know..... What happened?"
"..."
He asked worriedly. Mei Chen just smiled, she doesn't really want to be reminded of what happened earlier.
Tony draped his suit over Little Mei then he smiled at her.
"Let's just eat on the way... Come on. Let's go..."
He cheerfully said. Mei Chen lagged behind him. She looked back at the hotel lobby, there's clearly pain and loneliness in her eyes.
